NEW 2010 - OFFICE ROOM FOR THOSE WHO NEED TO MIX BUSINESS AND FUN! This custom home is located 6.5 miles N of the paved road at milepost 19.5.This 5200 sq ft custom home has plush interior furnishings by Decorum. Elegant decor includes original oil paintings and colorful floral arrangements. The house is on a high corner lot (500 feet from the beach, fourth row) which provides spectacular views of the ocean and wonderful sunsets at all levels (no houses in front to obstruct ocean views). This unique setting, which is only accessed by four wheel drive vehicles, is tranquil, has a broad flat beach, an abundance of wildlife, and a herd of wild mustangs that freely roam the area. The home is designed for multi-family use. It in uniquely outfitted with special handicap (elevator which stops on all floors, wide hallways, master suite with roll-in shower, handicap toilet and sink, and direct pool access from ground floor). All bedrooms have private baths and access to expansive decking.

The Rees Jones designed Currituck Club Golf Links is located just 10 miles south and a 30-40 minute drive will take you to Sea Scape Golf Links, Nags Head Golf Links, Kilmaric Golf Club, The Pointe Golf Club and Carolina Club. Take a day and visit the beautiful lighthouses of the Outer Banks on the way down to see Ocracoke and Hatteras Islands. Nearby in Corolla are numerous shops including a food market and a movie theater. Kayaking, miniature golf, surf fishing, crabbing, tours, parasailing, paddle boats, windsurfing, hang gliding, snorkeling, diving, jet skiing, wave runners, deep sea fishing, horseback riding, fine and casual dining are all available in the area.

The ground floor level is geared for fun with a sitting area for TV/DVD/VCR viewing, a card table for games and a pool room. Children''s games and PlayStationII are available for your enjoyment. Grab a snack or cocktail in the kitchenette which includes a refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, wet bar and dishwasher and coffee maker. A full bath and direct access to a gated swimming pool, covered patio and shower is provided. NEW FOR 2010 - AN OFFICE HAS BEEN ADDED FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO LIKE TO MIX BUSINESS WITH PLEASURE COMPLETE WITH A MULTIFUNCTION (PRINT/FAX/SCAN) PRINTER AND WIRELESS HIGH SPEED INTERNET). This room also has a day bed with pull out trundle and a desk area.

The mid-level has 4 master bedrooms, each with private baths. Two are king suites and two are furnished with a bunk set and a duo bunk. A centrally located den has a queen sleep sofa and a flat screen TV.

The upper floor has a well stocked gourmet kitchen, full dining area, large great room, and access to a screened and not screened covered porch. A ship's watch, powder room, and two master suites (One handicapped friendly) complete the upper floor. A 6 person hot tub is located on this deck.

My family stayed at this great cottage during Labor Day week of 2009. The cottage was very amenable to all of our needs. We vacation in Carova frequently and this home is one of the best we have stayed in. Very comfortable & spacious both inside & outside with all the decks & outdoor furniture. Large pool for family fun while the ocean is just a few steps away. This home sits on a high dune corner lot giving you wonderful views from the windows & decks. Your family will love this one!

Great Family Place

Wow! what a place - I traveled to The Outer Banks for the first time with my four kids and my sister and her family - there were 9 of us total - the house was perfect for us - two kitchens - enough room so we wouldn't feel crowded, comfy furniture and beds and the 4 wheeling to and from the house was fun. The pool was nice as the beach was closed a couple days due to tropical storms - the hot tub a nice addition. The town of Corolla was great too - the kids went crabbing, fishing and hiking and there are lots of small ice cream shops, deli's, and stores - not too busy and no one ever said "I'm bored" It was nice to loaf around in your swimsuit all day. There are also lots of wildlife -horses frequent the property and area, we saw dolphins, sea otters, stingrays, fox, turtles, tree frogs. The only problem we had were the mosquitos. There is garbage pick up on site and a washer and dryer. One suggestion is to bring your own drinking water and stock up on the groceries as there are no stores and the nearest is about 10 miles away. If you are looking for relaxation - this is the place! We will hopefully return next year. Oh and the ocean water was 80degrees!

My family and I have stayed at this wonderful home two times and I just booked it for a third time. The location is great with quick beach access and great ocean views. We have had horses hanging out outside the home almost every morning each time we have visited. The beach is very quiet in this area. The interior of the home is nicely decorated and everything that you could need for a great vacation is right there. The pool is nice and big and a great way to cool off after a day at the beach. I have been vacationing in the outer banks for many years. The 4x4 area of the OBX is my favorite area to visit and this home is by far the best value I have found so far. Each year my family and I comment on how perfect this home is for our needs. My mother is disabled and this home works great for her. Book it! You will love it.

2nd annual family reunion!!

This wonderful home made our family reunion one of the most memorable times I think we will share. From the most beautiful sunrises to sunsets, the horses on the beach, and sharing dinners in that great dinning room, we all have special memories. There was plenty of space for all 18 of us to be together or if you wanted to get away from everyone, the house if plenty big enough of do just that. I can see why guests of this house make a return back, we all might next year!!
