This home is located on the Clark Fork River and has a private dock, just east of the scenic town of Thompson Falls. Amenities include: Linens, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, large screen T.V., plus T.V.'s in each room. Sat T.V. with movie channels. 2 kayaks 1 canoe, air conditioning, pellet fireplace, RV hookup, Gas BBQ. wireless high speed internet. Telephone for local calls. Most of the area around the home is national forest with fishing, wildlife, hiking, biking, boating , waterskiiing, golfing, rafting and tons more. This house comes fully equipped with everything one would need, including rivers, lakes, creeks, mountains, wildlife, very few people, and not a stoplight within 80 miles! For a scenic day trip, try Glacier National Park, less than 2 hours. (approx. 90 miles). This is a great location.

Excellent place to stay!!!

Description of the property was very accurate.

Property was very well maintained and clean, furniture and beds were gorgeous.

The owners were more then helpful, I had questions before we went (one of them being -what to do around Thompson Falls) Michelle was so very nice when speaking with her.

I would highly recommend this property to others. And we would rent this house again.

We didn't eat out, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need to cook.

The relaxing was the ultimate, floated in the river every day for at least 3 hrs, kayaked everyday. The river is deep, slow and wonderful. Our boys loved the fishing. Excellent TV's and channels. Glacier Park was amazing(saw lots of animals). Thompson Falls Dam was a nice little hike with more amazing view. National Bison Range(for $5.00) it was worth it.

Our thanks to Mike and Michelle also to Mick the caretaker for sharing the home with us and our family. We hope to come back soon.

WOW! What a View!

This is the best vacation home we've ever found. Views of the river and mountains are spectacular. The house is an absolute jewel with interesting decorator touches everywhere. Wonderfully comfortable beds. The kitchen was a dream for us because we like to get local ingredients and cook up delicious meals, and then to be able to dine with a view of the river was truly memorable. Brown loved having the kayaks to cruise on the river. The location is ideal for day trips to the Big Cedars, Sandpoint, Missoula, Kootenai Falls, etc., and it is convenient to the charming town of Thompson Falls, but the best part is just relaxing in this fabulous home with the splendors of nature just outside the windows. Chester liked it so much he didn't want to leave. We were delighted to meet Mickey, the local contact, who gave us both friendship and information. Great rental home.

My husband and I and our two pugs had a great time at this great rental home. The air conditioning was a godsend because we had a couple of days of record setting temperatures during our stay. The kitchen is very well equiped and the seperate laundry room is a plus. We had a great time on the water with the canoe and kyaks that were provided. The video library is immense especially if you like John Wayne movies. The furniture is very comfortable expecially the beds. There is a super market very close by and the quaint town of Thompson Falls is a kick with it's jail museum and small movie theatre. It was also great having someone local to call if we had any questions. I highly recommend this property.
