Just bring yourself to relax and enjoy our favorite getaway place. This is our dream house - so we've supplied it with everything we need to enjoy a weekend away - you will find all the comforts of our home. Enjoy the Blodgett's neighborhood picnic & swim area & the dock - just a 5 minute walk from the house. Or drive to the town beach in Newbury. Although we prefer sipping cool drinks out on the covered deck. There is a gas grill on the deck & a huge picnic table in the backyard.

Nearest Airport: Manchester at 30 Miles
Nearest Motorway: Routes I89 and 103 at 4 Miles
Nearest Beach: beach at 0.3 Miles
We are only 3 streets up from the water. You can walk to the beautiful neighborhood beach in under 5 minutes. Here are some of the area's items of interest and attractions. Winter activities include skiing, sledding, ice skating, or ice fishing. Hiking and Picnicking on Mt. Kearsarge with wonderful sunsets! Easy 0.5 mile hike up Mt. Kearsarge from the Warner side. A more difficult but rewarding 1.75 mile hike up on the new Barlow Trail on the Wilmot side. Another nice hike is on the Kidder Brook or Morgan pond trail near Twin Lake Villa just outside of New London. There are also hiking trails on Mt. Sunapee, with the Andrew Brook trail leading past Lake Solitude, and ending with a breathtaking view from the summit. More Hiking: Hike our new Sunapee, Ragged, Kearsarge Greenway. Trails that connect all three of our local mountains. Ice-Skating: Available on our inns with lakes and ponds, and in downtown New London. Bring your own skates, or rent them in New London or Eastman.

very nice house. Very close to lake. We spent three days there and there was always something to do. You can do BBQ on the covered porch even if it rains. You can light the fireplace if you are in romantic mood. You can play games or listen to music. You can visit the nearby Sunapee harbor and take a lake trip. If you have a boat it's even better.
The owners are very nice.
