'Myst Haven Cottage' is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath ranch (sleeps 5) on Balsam Way, a private road. Located on the 'quiet side' of the island just a 5 minute drive to quaint Southwest Harbor. Listen to the ocean sounds and Western Way bell at night. A 5 minute walk to the Seawall Beach (a rocky beach) portion of Acadia National Park. Watch the fishing boats and yachts come and go through the Western Way as you stand on Seawall Beach. The house is a 20 minute drive to Bar Harbor, which offers dining and shopping. The house sits on a wooded acre lot that is very peaceful. Lie in the hammock out back and listen to the ocean as the mist rolls around you on certain bright sunny summer days. I chose the name 'Myst Haven' when I acquired the property, because of the mist from the ocean that rolls in when all of the rest of the island is hot. The stars are so bright at night you could almost touch them.
