This beautifully decorated 4 bedroom, 2 bath two story log home sits atop South Hill with a glimpse of Okemo Mountain through the wooded 2 acre property. The bright and cozy living/ dining area with southern exposure, features 20 ft cathedral ceilings, a Vermont Castings wood stove, wrap-around couch and separate television sitting area with queen sofa bed - all overlooking a huge deck with gas barbecue. The first floor also includes two bedrooms including a master bedroom with queen sleigh bed, color TV, cathedral ceiling, plus atrium door onto an outside deck, a guest bedroom with an antique double four poster bed, full bath with shower, fully equipped modern kitchen, mudroom, and access to the basement. The loft and 2nd floor features two bedrooms each with 2 twin beds, a full bath with bath tub & shower, and small loft work table with HP printer/fax for your computer hook-up. Plus an unfinished basement with new laundry, foosball table, TV, storage and limited heat.

There is plenty of activities on South Hill or in the general Okemo Mountain, Ludlow Vermont area. From walking and hiking or snowmobiling on the VAST trails just a few hundred feet away, to sunning on the spacious sun deck you will find lots to do on South Hill. Area attractions include great snow skiing or snow boarding at Okemo Mountain home of the best snow making team in the East. Just a couple miles to the base lodge from South Hill. Other ski areas within 15 minutes to 30 minutes include Killington, Pico, Magic, Bromley and Stratton Mountains. Shopping or dining in town is just down the hill and you will find plenty of excellent eateries and shops to make your day. If you are looking for outlets, Manchester is approximately 35 to 40 minutes away and is home to numerous outlet stores. Weston is 15 minutes away and features the famous Vermont Country Store and the Weston Playhouse which is closed during the winter months.

The home was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully equiped with all of the dishes, glasses and pot and pans to serve 10 people. The beds were very comfortable with clean sheets. It also had plenty of parting for cars.

The home was situated about 1 m.ile from Okemo Mountain and less than a half mile to downtown Ludlow.

We had a great time on our Christmas vacation and would recommend this to other families.
