Our Smoky Mountain vacation home has over 200 ft. of waterfront and a private dock on Lake Glenville. The interior of our two-story vacation rental home reflects the ambiance of a sophisticated mountain cabin. Features include hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, sunken great room with wood-burning, stone fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, double oven and custom cabinets. Each of the four bedrooms has its own connecting bath. Outdoor living spaces include a screened shade porch, generous bi-level sun and dining deck overlooking the lake and a grill patio for cooking out-of-doors. Lakeside Cottage at the Point offers all the comforts and conveniences of home. Our mountain vacation home is outfitted with satellite TVs, DVDs & CD players, wireless Internet access, board games and puzzles, fishing poles, kayaks and a red canoe. Bed linens, bath & beach towels, kitchen and laundry supplies, washer and dryer, even firewood for cool mountain nights are provided.

My family, three generations of us, just returned from what we all agree is one of the best family vacations we have ever had! Our visit to Lake Glenville and the week we spent at Lakeside Cottage could not have been better! Everyone enjoyed themselves, whether fishing from the dock, exploring the lake by kayak or curling up with a good book in a quiet corner on the porch, there was something for everyone. We are already making plans to return, perhaps in the Autumn when the leaves are changing and it's cool enough to sit by the fire. Thank you for opening your home to our family. Our time spent ther will become a cherished family memory.

Good memories close to nature

Thank you so much for sharing Lakeside Cottage with us. It was the perfect location for our “big chill” weekend! We’re four couples who have known each other since our college days and try to get together once a year to catch up on our busy lives and renew our friendship. We especially appreciated the attention to detail that was obvious throughout the cottage. It felt more like being in the home of close and caring friend than staying in a rental house. Everyone enjoyed it ---- the view of the lake was spectacular, we put the canoe to good use, spent hours laughing and playing board games in front of the great room fire and one night when the moon was especially bright walked along the trail to the road where we spied a mother deer and her fawn. It is hard to say who was more surprised by this encounter, but the deer were surely faster on their feet than we [were]! We would definitely visit again, and we will recommend your home to others.
