Beautiful property, courteous and helpful renters,

We had a wonderful time during our stay at this lovely cottage. Close to the quaint town of Bridgehampton and only a couple of minutes drive to the beach. The decor is relaxing and sharp throughout. The queen bedrooms are beautiful, we especially enjoyed the upstairs bedroom, very relaxing. Our children LOVED the pool - as did we. We spent most of the week in the heated pool as the beach was quite cold. The kitchen redesign and appointment is high-end, definitely easy to cook as a group. The owners were so helpful prior to and during our stay. Very kind. The house was clean, as were the grounds and pool. We had a few minor criticisms of the property and I include these only as an explanation for giving a "good" rating, rather than an "excellent". With a few adjustments this would be our Hampton retreat of choice for years to come. We had a good bit of difficulty gaining access to the beaches surrounding. Many require a resident parking pass. We would have loved to find a parking pass that came with the rental of the home. The only other suggestion we have is a couple of cupboards appointed as a pantry for food items we bring with us. We didn't know where to store dry goods. On a positive note, the beverage cooler adds a lot of valuable storage space for cold drinks. Overall, we had a great time and appreciated the beauty and comfort of this home.
Owner's Response: We really appreciate the suggestions in this review. We have started reorganizing the pantry to allow space for dry goods (in addition to the shelving in the kitchen). Beaches in the hamptons don't officially open until the last week in June. We will be exploring the option of beach passes for our guests in summer 2009.
