Our little family of three spent our very first vacation as a family in this beautiful condo of Joyce & Bobby's & loved every minute of it! 11 days of comfort & relaxation!
The condo was amazingly comfortable & very well stocked. There were plenty of towels (though bring your own beach towels for the pool and the beach), plenty of dishes including wine glasses, cork screw, blender, plenty of linens, plenty of pillows, toilet paper, etc. The only thing we spent money on was food that we cooked right inside the condo, which is incredible!!!
It was cost effective for my husband & I to take our 18-month-old on a little vacation which was a great get-away for us & great fun for her! We spent a lot of time in the indoor (very well-heated) pool and jacuzzi. We spent a day or two in the (again, very well-heated) outdoor pool & A LOT of time walking the beautiful grounds of the Manor!
We also enjoyed going to Montauk Point to view the beautiful (& very old!) lighthouse! The grounds there are BEYOND BEAUTIFUL!!!
It was a little too cold to go in the ocean as we were there in May, but we enjoyed walks on the beach!
Mr. John's Pancake House on Main Street has delectable breakfast. A bit expensive after Memorial during the summer season though.
John's Drive-In on Main Street has cheap, delicious, greasy eats! (hamburgers, chili cheese dogs & HOMEMADE ice cream!)
Runaways just off Main Street on S. Elmwood Ave. has a nice Caribbean atmosphere & mouthwatering Mexican food & cheap drinks!
Duryea's is just off Edgemere on Tuthill Rd (at the bottom of the hill of the Manor) & it overlooks Fort Pond Bay where you can see the best sunsets in Montauk!!! It's a bit expensive, but well worth the price if you spend it on the seafood! BYOB of wine, or beer, or anything you want!
We spent a couple days going into the Hamptons and had a nice time there, too!
We'll definitely be back to Joyce & Bobby's Condo!!!
