Comfortably sleeping four, this one-bedroom, smoke-free loft with cathedral ceilings and a balcony is steps from an urban grocery store, a fresh fish market, wonderful restaurants, and all of the gelataria that you will need. Your apartment in Cremona is centrally located to many other wonderful destinations in northern Italy: In about one hour you can tour: Milano, Verona, Parma, Mantova, Lago di Garda, Castell'Arquato (a quaint medieval town), The Alps and others. In about two hours you can reach: Lago di Como and Bellagio, Torino (home of the 2006 Winter Olympics), Bologna, The Seas (Adriatic and Ligure) among other sites. Venice is only three and a half hours away!
For those traveling without a car, international flights arrive at Milan Malpensa, which is one hour by (very frequent) bus to Milan Central Station, from which trains take about 75 minutes to reach Cremona. Cremona itself has an excellent urban transport system, and from the train station Milan, Piacenza, Fidenza, Crema, Lodi, Parma, Mantua and Brescia can be reached directly in about an hour or under, with Modena, Pavia, Bergamo and Bologna Taking somewhat longer.
Other destinations throughout Italy can be reach with connections. For those traveling with a car, my parents will greet you at the condo and point out places to park for free.
