The Living Room:
The living room is colorfully furnished with elegance and comfort in mind. For those cool weather times there is a fireplace for guests to warm up after a long day or provide a setting for cozy conversations. The family room is spacious and welcoming. Near the dining room is a den with a queen sleep sofa, delightfully furnished, and may be made very private for use as a bedroom. Nearby is a full bath convenient for guests in the den. The dining room is furnished with an oval table, corner cupboard and sideboard. Opposite is the well-equipped kitchen and dinette. The family room is furnished with wing chairs, side chairs, a bench and great down sofa, plus a large TV with DVD and VCR. Off the living room is a large Master Bedroom with fourposter queen bed, TV and great bath with jacuzzi tub. A small hall leads to the laundry room and garage. The large screened porch is everyone's favorite place with adjustable blinds and great furniture for lounging and dining.
The Second Floor:
The second floor has a large hall leading to a room with a bunk bed and trundle, cozy and fun, with a TV and small desk as well as other attractive furnishings. Next to it is a lovely bedroom with queen bed, painted oriental chest, TV, and a door leading to a balcony in front. The third bedroom is a twin with barn-red beds and chest, TV and a door leading to the balcony. Connecting these is a large bath with double sinks and tub/shower. Each room is furnished with comfort and pleasure in mind for all our guests. The dwelling has 2875 sq. ft. and the lot has 8533. This would be the perfect house for a family, a group of golfers, reunions, wedding parties, showers, 'crafty ladies', small business retreats, or just for a quiet vacation, enjoying all the amenities offered to you at Bear Trap Dunes. You could lease this house for a weekend, week or a month, and enjoy every minute of the comfortable and beautiful surroundings provided in the furnishings, appointments and neighborhood.
Other Attractions:
In addition to the many attractions at Bear Trap, you are close to the historic town of Lewes where you can take the ferry ride over to Cape May, NJ, or you can go antiquing in Rehoboth or check out the many Outlets there, as well as head south to Ocean City, MD, for the fishing or dine on some MD crab. There is much to do and see in the area if you like to hike, golf, swim, bike or indulge in some fine dining. All of this is available to you when you make your vacation destination the Village of Bear Trap Dunes. If you are in need of further accommodation, please check out our villa, overlooking the second outdoor pool and 7th hole of the Course. The villa sleeps 8. Now, with the warm weather coming, is the time to come and enjoy the resort atmosphere at the Village and Beach. You will be tempted to play on the great golf course, take sunny walks on the beach, and enjoy the surroundings. A weekend, a week or a month at this lovely house will definitely have you wanting to return.
