Our stay at the Castle Guesthouse

This place was absolutely amazing. It is located on a small point and is situated above the water so the view is breathtaking. There was no one staying at the Castle main house while we were there, and the owner was kind enough to allow us to use its outdoor facilities which was just wonderful. The infinity pool was the perfect temperature and we spent hours playing in the pool and in the ocean. There are multiple patios and we spent most nights outside with a glass of wine watching the sun set over the horizon. The owner allows his guests to use his kayaks so we kayaked for a few hours on two different days when it wasn't too windy. On one kayak trip, we kayaked out to a shipwreck site called the Wreck of the Ten Sails, and that was really neat. This home offers all of the privacy and luxury you could imagine for a vacation villa. For us, it was the vacation of a lifetime, and we definitely hope to go back.

The Castle Guesthouse has, we all agreed, the best of everything Grand Cayman has to offer! The sea views from the home are gorgeous in the most peaceful and private of settings. We were well out of the traffic and chaos of George Town, yet we had everything we needed or wanted. We enjoyed both diving and snorkeling through two great local dive shops - one only steps away. We visited a number of the restaurants recommended by the owner, and thoroughly enjoyed each one. We found that the nearby gift shops and grocery store had everything we wanted.

My husband and I, our two teenage sons, and my husband's parents so enjoyed the many comforts of the home. It's cheery, spotless, and very well-appointed down to the last detail.

The only bad part of our trip was having to leave. Until we return, we will have to savor our happy memories, including our early morning cup of coffee on the patio overlooking the sea!

We would highly recommend a visit to the Castle Guesthouse!

Over 50's laid-back holiday!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in March this year and found everything to our satisfaction i.e. location, cleanliness and rooms were all very acceptable. Good sized bedrooms.
The local walks were lovely with good nearby eating places, again all acceptable, with great views of course.
We loved it all so much that we are thinking of going back again next year. You can truly relax here and take in the wonderful Caribbean atmosphere.
