This 1bd/1ba town home is located in Keauhou, just south of Kailua-Kona. The complex, Keauhou Resort, is nestled among 5 acres of tropical gardens. The unit has been completely remodeled. All furniture and appliances have been upgraded. The living level, on the upper floor has a tropical decor. There is a TV/DVD available along with a CD player. The updated and fully stocked kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, side by side refrigerator, coffee pot, and blender. All cooking utensils, bed, bath and kitchen linens are provided. The dining table seats 4 comfortably. Off the living area, there is an ocean view lanai, with table, chairs and umbrella. During the winter months, you can enjoy the whales with your morning coffee. Later in the day wind down watching for the 'green flash' at sunset. The bedroom and bath are located on the lower level. There is a king size bed and a small twin day bed. A screened lanai is off the bedroom. The full bath has been updated with custom cabinets.

There is a full size washer and dryer. Ceiling fans on each level take advantage of the warm gentle trade winds. Keauhou Resort is located in a quiet residential area, yet close to shopping, activities and restaurants. Traffic is minimal. This unit is best for guests who want to rest and unwind. Enjoy reading a book at one of 2 swimming pools on the property. Everything is provided for our guests in this unit. Just bring your bathing suits and slippers!

Things to do : Keauhou Resort is conveniently close to all the activities and attractions of the Kona Coast. Snorkeling at Kahalu'u Beach is a short 3 minute drive away. Turtles are in abundance! Magic Sands Beach is great for boogie boarding and catching some sun. To the South, Capt. Cook and Kealakekua Bay offer all types of water activities - snorkeling, diving, kayaking and boating. For those visitors who aren't 'Beach' people, sightseeing is a must on the Big Island. Close to Kailua-Kona, historical attractions such as the Painted Church or Hulihee Palace are high on the list of places to see. Golfing is only a 5 minute walk from the unit, at the Kona Country Club. Retail therapy abounds from the small artists' studios' in Hawi, on the Kohala Coast, to the upscale shops at Waikaloa Beach Resort. Volcano National Park is approximately 90 miles from Keauhou. Keauhou Shopping Center is within walking distance. Groceries, restaurants and movies are some of the amenities available.

In October, watch the Ironman Triathlon. The participants swim 3 miles, ride a bike 100 miles and then run a 26 mile marathon. The townhouse is close enough to the action, but far away from the noise and hustle and bustle.

This is a beautifully remodeled and decorated condo in the quiet Keauhou Resort, just a five minute walk from Keauhou Bay. It is clean, serene, and has every amenity a traveler could need. The location is ideal for snorkeling adventures both N & S, as well as traveling to Waimea, the Hamakua coast, or Volano NP. If you enjoy a low-key resort with tropical trees and flowers, 2 small pools, then this is the place for you. Truly a gem that Debby & Jay Hess have polished for their guests!There is a little traffic on Kam III Rd. next to the unit, but it's quiet at night and you'll awaken to the doves at dawn.

This townhouse was beautiful. It has a lovely view of the ocean and golf course in a quiet setting. Close to the beaches and harbor. Also two nice pools for the guests. Inside it was clean and equipped with all appliances ,large and small. Even the beach towels were provided! I absolutely would stay again, and highly recommend to others.
