Roy's condo was perfect!
It is clean and every thing you need is there. We also enjoyed the luxury of a renovated condo!!! We are a family of five, with 2 teenagers, and we didn't feel overcrowded!
The view directly on the ocean is a must see. The sunset is breath taking!!!
We had a very nice vacation and I would rent this property again if a we go back to Manhattan beach!

Our week in North Manhatten Beach

Roy did an excellent job on this total remodel - new kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms w/ new furniture - the pictures are totally accurate.
Can walk a couple blocks to great eating / shopping or a 20 min walk to the Manhatten Pier and it's great Retail area. The house is located at the end of Manhatten's portion of the Bike Path - middle of the 30 mile path (Santa Monica - Redondo Beach) so ideally located for this great ride.
Roy's daughter is in unit below and avail if needed...oh yea, having a 2 car garage is fantastic.

Love this place in Manhattan Beach

The property was described accurately. It was clean and well maintained. The location of being oceanfront and in the strand was a big plus. It was steps to the best beach I have been to. The beds were very comfortable and provided for a restful sleep. There were beach chairs and boogie boards for our use. The big screen TV, the modern appliances, a fully equipped kitchen, with a working grill completes the picture. We had the chance to meet the owner who was genuine in his concern for our comfort and enjoyable vacation. It's location in the north end which made it far from downtown Manhattan Beach, and very tight parking are the only negatives. But then, that made it much closer to LAX airport. I would go back and rent this place anytime.

Manhattan Beach Condo

Our family stayed at this condo in March and it was exactly as pictured and described, all newly furnished and immaculately clean. Wonderful full views and sounds of the ocean come into the living, dining rooms and kitchen, with a constant display of wet-suited surfers riding the waves out front. We saw some of them enjoying a visit from porpoises we thought at first were sharks!

The Strand is but a few steps down in front. It straddles the beach and is lively with neighbors, walkers and morning joggers, but quiet along this north end of the beach. The lovely, vast sand beaches have volleyball courts everywhere, and span for miles along the water. It's all at a perfect elevation for biking, jogging and walking for visitors of any athletic ability or mothers with strollers and young kids. Be shure to rent bikes here or further up the beach.

The unit is too far from the pier and main downtown area for any quick errands on foot, but a perfect distance for a more leisurely morning walk or afternoon stroll for lunch. Some restaurants and shopping are within walking distance nearby, starting a block up the hill behind and south of the house. Take time to explore the many shops and restaurants in Manhattan Beach. The town reveals itself in stages and layers around the hillside.

The house has two, enclosed garage spaces for smaller cars or smaller SUVs, and is only minutes from the airport. A flight of stairs down is required to access the back door. Watch for the airport road. It's not clearly marked.

The owner could not be nicer or easier to work with. Perfect family getaway. We enjoyed our visit!
