The villa has 4 bedrooms, but is priced as a 3 bedroom house for parties of up to 6 people. The ground floor comprises an airy sitting and dining room area and open plan kitchen. Of the three downstairs bedrooms two open on the pool and terrace. One of the double bedrooms has an en suite bathroom. Upstairs there is a fourth bedroom with en suite bathroom. There is basic, British satellite TV and local Spanish TV plus CD, stereo etc. The gardens comprise shrubs and trees, which are regularly looked after by a gardener. There is a hammock hung between the two palm trees at the front. Pool heating is available in the colder months for a small fee.

Local Area Information

Cala Llonga is particularly good for walking. Within reach by foot is the old British fortress, San Felipe, which has been featured in the recent series of Hornblower. The area is fairly high up affording great views of the sea. The north side is more craggy and resembling parts of Cornwall.

Mahon

The main town of Mahon is a beautiful place combining old markets for fish and general produce and an open pedestrian precinct hosting thoroughly modern shops such as Mango. The harbour, the second biggest natural harbour in the world, is lined with diverse restaurants. There are plenty of good late night clubs within easy reach.

Within Reach

Within easy reach of the villa there is a natural reserve called S’Albufera, which is full of bird life and where you can spend a day walking and picnicking. Near here is another beach and small village, Es Grau where the children can swim and play in shallow water.
