Bisbee is awesome and the “High Point” house is wonderful. It’s quiet, comfortable, and fully appointed. You can settle in and easily entertain or just chill – either inside or on the private front patio where there’s a picnic table and nice view of the Mule mountains. My husband and I like a combination of home cooking/lounging/entertaining and easy, safe exploring of the local area. The walk into central Bisbee is really nice (a breeze for walkers). If walking isn’t your style, the drive takes just a few minutes. High Point’s beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped and open to the dining room, the bathrooms are completely updated (guest bath is spacious and easy to share if the house is full), the living room has nice seating and a wall-mounted TV with DVD, there are lots of books to borrow and high-speed internet access. The house is bright by day and stylishly lit at night. You can hang out in the dining room and watch for foraging javelinas in the parking area (the house and patio are elevated and completely enclosed, offering a nice viewing platform). High Point is centrally located for wildlife enthusiasts (especially birders) with the Mule Mountains, Huachuca Mountains and San Pedro River Valley nearby. We spent just over a week at High Point and couldn’t be happier – it is now our annual getaway destination (detox, decompress = divine), so take good care of it and enjoy!
