Cornfield Point - 3-bedroom air conditioned house is only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The vaulted ceilings in the living room with fireplace and kitchen have an airy feel. The living room has two sliding doors, which open up to the screened in porch with jalousie windows. The home has expanded cable TV in 3 rooms, stereo with CD player and ipod docking station, DVD / VCR. Tenants bring sheets and towels. The yard has table, chairs and a gas grill available for those summer cookouts. The neighborhood is a private community. An attendant maintains the beaches daily. Please no pets and no smoking in the house. Activities and Attractions The Cornfield Point Association provides a playground for your children, basketball and tennis court. For the golfers, the Fenwick Golf course is available to the public. In addition, you are only 30 minutes from Mohegan Sun Casino or Mystic Seaport. Outlet shopping is only a few miles away.

The house was a perfect spot for adults and kids, It was spotless upon arrival and it is nice to walk in to a very clean place. I would recomend this house to anyone who is looking for a beach house. The owner was very accomodating and we are looking forward to going back.

Very COMFY!

My friends and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this cottage/house, it was ideal for the three of us but I'd say four or five people can also fit comfortably. We found everything we needed (with the exception of the linens and towels that we had to provide ourselves) and all agreed that the beds were very comfy. The fireplace kept the chill off and warmed the house up in no time. I wanted to say too that we were especially pleased to watch a large flock of swallows flying back and forth over the house in the early evening as they were feeding-- very cool. The beach is just a short walk down the road and overall it's in a very beautiful area. Old Saybrook is a LOVELY town, I do hope to come again to stay one day. Thank you Lynne.

Lynn was very accommodating.
The cottage was just perfect for what I needed. Bike riding, walking daily, feeling perfectly safe and comfortable.
The restaurants in the area are some of the best, whether looking for seafood, cajun or plain old home style cooking.
There was a great information binder put together.
The furniture was most comfortable, (not always the case in rentals) except I must say the beach chairs were far from great.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

We enjoyed "your" cottage, the many people we met on the beach as well as riding our bikes down many scenic roads!

We were also pleased to receive our deposit back in a timely matter...thank you!

We rented the week of July 12th. 2008 which was my birthday, not only did we love this house but Lynne was ultimately fantastic to deal with. She rented us an ultra clean home, made a concession for us on occupancy and we felt compelled to leave it just as immaculate as we found it. We loved dealing with Lynne so much that we are renting again in July of 2009 again! Perhaps this will be a yearly rental for us. Cornfield Point is our favored beach and this home is cozy, spacious, clean and holds all of the ammenities that anyone could ever ask for....THANK YOU LYNNE...do not change your standards they are what makes this the perfect home to rent any time of year.....Loretta and Family
