We found a gem at Malibu. This three bedroom/two bath penthouse condo is furnished for the most discriminating taste. The dining, sleeping, entertaining areas are geared for an upbeat vacation. The dining, living area is large enough for all to enjoy the large tv set, rent a movie, or hook up your laptop to keep in touch with the back home folks. The penhouse/rooftop area can be used as a social area for any large crowd; part is roofed if an intermittent shower hits, or the open deck becomes too hot for some. Use the open deck for using the grill, taking the scenery such as the rain forest in the rear, or move to the other side and watch the waves from the ocean. The roofed in area also has a small bar for the guests to mingle, a small refrig. to keep the drinks cool, and the lounge/futons can be used as extra beds if need be.
Malibu is a gated community on the ocean and is monitored by security guards. The grounds are immaculate, and the pool area is a fine place to enjoy the sun, read, or socialize with other guests staying there. Or you can go out to the beach, The beach area is probably the best of any othe other gated communities in the area and if the sun gets too hot for you move back under the palm trees. Beach chairs are provided for you in the condo closets along with boogie boards and flotation devices to use. Walk on the beach, or watch the horses being exercised on the their runs on the beach
Designated parking is available at the the stairs; a new walmart super store just opened down the road for all your shopping needs, and a sams club is also down the road, as well as a costco. An enclosed outlet shopping mall is accross the street from the walmart. You are also approx. 20-30 minutues from the Pinnones, Isla Verde section of San Juan and the airport.
So if you are looking for a vacation for family, extended relatives, and or other friends. enjoy this condo. We have used it twice and have also rented at other communites, and or visited, but this is by far our favorite. Enjoy.
