Are you looking for a place to relax? Do you enjoy the serenity and peacefulness of the Pocono Mountains? This lovely 4 bedroom home features cathedral ceiling with hardwood floors and knotty pine walls throughout. The home is tastefully decorated mountain style with a fully equipped modern kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor and one large bedroom on the lower level with bunk beds, sofa bed, TV, VCR, DVD and toys. There is also a bumper pool table and ping pong table in the attached garage. All bedrooms have TVs with working cable. The Locust Lake Village development is a peaceful, wooded community which offers 3 lifeguarded swimming lakes and a T bar ski slope and chalet. If you enjoy winter sports, summer sports, shopping, watching wildlife, restaurants, relaxing and much more this is a perfect place to vacation or getaway.

Location: Locust Lake in USA

Nearest Beach: beach at 0.1 Miles
The entrance to Locust Lake Village is on Rt 940 about 10 miles from the Pocono exit of the Northeast Extension on the PA Turnpike. JF and BB are the closest ski areas and are approximately 10 minutes away. Camelback/Camelbeach are approximately 20 minutes away. Other close attractions include whitewater rafting, horseback riding, snowmobiling, shopping at The Crossings Outlets, golf, state parks, paintball, Pocono Raceway and much more. There are 3 lifeguarded swimming lakes within the development and also a T-bar ski slope and lodge. This ski slope is excellent for beginner skiers and ski rentals are right outside the development on Rt. 940. LLV has a full time recreational director in the summer and offers many activities for families. There are several books at the house to give you information and directions about local attractions, restaurants and shopping.

Notes: There is porch furniture on the front deck and on the side screened porch. In the summer, we have a canoe at the lake with fishing rods and life jackets. It's only a short walk to the lake which is restocked every year. On the first level, there are bunk beds and a full size futon with cable TV, VCR, DVD, toys and bumper pool table. If your bringing kids, this is a good place for them to hang out.

Things to do in the Summer:: In the summer, take a short walk to the lake where you can fish off the dock or in our large canoe in one of the stocked lakes. You can swim at the 3 lifeguarded beach areas. The relaxed and friendly community of LLV has a recreation committee which offers daily activities for kids and families such as BINGO, dances, crafts, cookouts and campfires, ice cream socials and summer movies. Close by are the tennis courts, playgrounds, basketball court, baseball field, Bocci Ball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and picnic areas. Only a short drive away you can enjoy Camelbeach, the largest water park in PA, hiking, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, golfing, miniature golf/arcade center, beautiful state parks, outlet shopping, great bars and restaurants, Pocono Raceway, paintball, ATV rentals and much more. At the end of the season the fall foliage is spectacular.

Things to do in the Winter:: For winter sports it's only a 15 minute drive to Jack Frost, Big Boulder and Camelback Mountains where you can ski, snowboard or snow tube. The development also offers a small ski slope with T-bar lift which is great for beginner skiers! There is also a pond which is plowed for ice skating. JF and BB are the closest ski mountains and offer great programs for children/adult lessons. Other winter sports nearby are cross country skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, horseback rinding and much more.
