This well-crafted 1998 interior designer's home combines the best of modern living with the class and comfort of an historic residence. Salvaged accent pieces and built-ins complement gleaming granite counters and wood floors to create a mood of rustic luxury. Brand new furniture, window treatments and carpeting throughout the sunlit rooms yield a fresh and airy feel. Outside the home, some of the most magnificent perennial gardens in the area highlight a 25 acre pleasing balance of fields and forests. A new post and beam barn and potting shed make up the outbuildings. Locally enjoy all the amenities of year round Vermont living. Visit the adjacent orchards for fruit picking during the glorious colors of our Vermont autumn. Winter brings sledding, snowshoeing and skiing at nearby Killington or Suicide Six (5 min. drive). Spring and Summer offer fly-fishing the Ottauquechee river, horseback riding, superior golf or hiking the Appalachian trail. Bring your family and enjoy!
