Away from the madding crowd, the cottage is only a five minute drive to the artistic mountainside village of Mijas, or the bustling coastal town of Fuengirola.

The property of 3,500 square metres of terraced gardens offers spectacular 360 degree views of mountains, rolling hills and the Mediterranean. Only a short drive from the mountain village of Mijas, noted for its arts and crafts, donkey taxis and many romantic restaurants, the cottage is also only a few minutes drive from the seaside resort of Fuengirola, with wide sandy beaches, hundreds of restaurants, boat marina and every modern facility. It is just 15 minutes from Malaga International Airport to the east, and the cosmopolitan town of Marbella to the west. Day trips may be made to Granada, Ronda, Seville, Morocco and Gibraltar.

The cottage is 2km from Lew Hoad's Tennis Club, with its championship tennis courts, gymnasium, etc. There are 18 championship golf courses within easy drive (2 Mijas Golf courses within 10 minutes drive). Fishing and boat hire are available in the port of Fuengirola. Several horse-riding stables are nearby, or just enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area on foot. Whatever you enjoy to do, the area has it to offer.
