Very inviting! Very relaxing!

A group of friends decided to rent this house for a short weekend while attending our 10 year high school reunion. What a FANTASTIC IDEA! The owners were VERY helpful and VERY easy to communicate with. They made every attempt to be accomodating and helpful in any way possible. The house is tucked away in the woods and just the perfect place for a group of friends or a family to gather. The open floor plan makes entertaining and enjoying everyones company very easy. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean and the deck was large and accomodating. The sauna, hot tub, horseshoe pit and pool table kept us more than entertained for the weekend. Plus, it was nice ending the evening with a little bonfire and a few beers!
I would recommend this place to ANYONE! All-in-all, an A++++ experience! Would love to stay here again at our 15th Reunion or next time I come up to Sunday River to snowboard! Thanks for everything!

Spacious, Clean, Cozy

My family and I had a great time in this lodge. The lodge was comfortable and equipped with everything you need. We made use of the fire pit all 3 nights there cooking up smores and catching up on old times. We also made use of the hot-tub and sauna even in the summer time.

There is not many cons about this lodge, but if I must say, there were too many bugs outside during the summer time onces it is night time. The other disappointment we had was that there weren't many attractions in the town of Bethel. We planned on going to the Big Adventure Center and it was closed down. We ended up white water rafting, but there was nothing more than a class 3, which wasn't exciting enough for our group.

Overall, the house is spacious, clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone, but I would think the winter time would be better since Sunday River is very close by.

Great Time

We rented the River Ridge Lodge for a guy's golf weekend. The place was great. Well maintained. At least one bathroom on all three levels was convenient with such a large group. The large deck, pool table, horse shoe pit, and grill made for a fun time. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, dishware, etc. Golf course was a short 10 minute drive. The owners' were very responsive to questions and requests. A few of us plan to head back this winter with our wives for a ski weekend. I highly recommend the river ridge lodge.

Absolutely Wonderful

We had the most relaxing weekend in this gorgeous cabin. It has the looks and feel of a luxurious ski chalet you find out West, yet just three hours from our home in Boston. We can't wait to come back next year. Thanks again!

Perfect Ski Getaway

I just recently returned from a great 3 night stay at the River Ridge Lodge in Bethel Maine. We had 12 adults staying at the house and there was plenty of room/beds for everyone. The house is a quick 15 minute ride to Sunday River and very easy to find. The outdoor hot tub was a big hit every night after a long day of skiing along with the sauna which is an ammenity I haven't seen in many other rentals. None of the little things that can ruin a trip were an issue. The place was spotless, the description from the owner was very accurate, and communication with the owner before, during, and after the trip was always available. I would strongly recommend this property to anyone during any season, except for the week that I want to go back.
