Cannot Wait to Return to This Lovely Seaside Home!

We had a wonderful & relaxing vacation at this gorgeous oceanfront home. The house was warm, inviting, clean, well equipped and well-maintained and the ocean views from the house were truly breathtaking. We awoke to beautiful sunrises from our oceanfront bedroom and enjoyed our morning coffee while taking in the magnificent views of Cape Cod Bay & the beach from the home's kitchen. The owners could not have been more accommodating; offering helpful suggestions on what to do and see. Historic Sandwich village is charming, rich in history, with many fine restaurants and convenient to all the Cape's attractions such as the hustle and bustle of Hyannis and the quaint village of Hyannisport. We took a drive along historic Route 6A which is not to be missed for its scenic beautify, charm and flavor of old Cape Cod. The beach, which was right outside our front door, was gorgeous and expansive and has got to be one of Cape Cod's finest. We have been vacationing on the Cape for years and this home is clearly the best we have enjoyed. We cannot wait to return to this lovely seaside home.

I would not recommend this beach house. Although we booked 4 nights we did not even stay one.
The house seemed to have not been cleaned for weeks;there was mildew especially in the kitchen and in the bathroom.
The private beach was a mess, chairs scattered around in the sand. The floor and the table were covered with sand from the beach.
This is not the place to enjoy holidays.
There are many other places on Cape Cod which are maintained much better by the owner!
Owner's Response: In the 11 years we have rented our home, we have only received positive feedback about the beauty and condition of our home. Our home is professionally cleaned for each and every guest. Should the home not be cleaned to a guest's satisfaction, we ask that they contact us immediately at check-in so we can rectify the situation. We guarantee this on our reservation form and also have this posted on the bulletinboard of our cottage. We did confirm with our cleaning staff that the house had been throughly cleaned the morning of the guest's arrival. We also sent a third party to verify the cleanliness of the cottage. The guest never called us so we could rectify the situation and claimed that they checked out immediately and yet our cleaning staff confirmed that the cottage had been occupied and the beds had been slept in. Perhaps the guest's travel plans changed or they were merely trying to take advantage of a free stay. We take pride in cleanliness and condition of our beach house as evidenced by the positive reviews on our Homeaway website.

Great beach getaway

Just returned from a great week at this beach home. Ocean views from all rooms are spectacular. Home was well equiped and well cared for. The sandy area in front of the house is great for small children to play. Area resturants good if you can pull yourself away from the front deck and great view.

Very nice beach house.

Very good location, beach is expansive. House was reasonably clean. Kitchen dishes/utensils sparse but serviceable. Beach and porch chairs numerous. Very nice televisions, cable, dvd players, radio. Parking for two cars. Very good value. Owner was easy to contact, replied quickly and easy to work with.
