Featuring open concept living area with solid pine floors. A Vermont Castings stove is perfect for an evening by the fire. TV, VCR, and DVD as well as plenty of books provided. A fully equipped kitchen for those who like to cook. The two private bedrooms are furnished with luxury linens as well as a queen sofa sleeper. The perfect romantic getaway for two, yet spacious enough for a small family or two couples! Located just outside the historic village of Chester within minutes of Okemo, Bromley, and Ascutney Ski area, the Manchester Outlets, and in the heart of Color Country. Great cabin in the Vermont woods

We just spent the weekend at the cabin, and the pictures don't do it justice. Charming and cozy, it is set in the woods with a river running 20 yards from the back door, and is just a few miles from Chester, which is a great little town in southern Vermont. There is plenty of privacy, and you can hear the river from the front porch, or inside if you have the windows open.

The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook (no food, but plenty of spices and equipment), and the beds were comfortable with good linens.

The place was well maintained, and was pretty much exactly as you would imagine a cabin in the woods.

The owners were friendly and helpful throughout the process. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to returning some time.

What a great little place. So quiet and so serene. The beds were uber comfortable, the place well decorated and stocked.
Add the central location to SO much and you have a get-a-way that can't miss.
The owners were pesonable and communicative. They kept in constant touch before our arrival and answered any questions that we had prior to our rental.
We even had a round bought for us at a local tavern.
This place is great any time of the year. There is always something to do in Vermont regardless of the season. I highly recommend this place and its owners.
