Les Oliveres is a small private estate built on the lower slopes of the beautiful and exclusive Aiguablava bay. There are three swimming pools in landscaped gardens, and a children's play area for the sole use of residents. The villa, which is tastefully furnished and equipped, has panoramic views of the sea and hills. It has its own large private terrace and secluded gardens with olive trees to give dappled shade in the hotter months. There are four bedrooms, one with a double bed and three with twin single beds. All bedrooms have en-suite bath or shower rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and there is dining furniture in the large reception room, and on the outside terrace. The sea at the pretty Fornells cove and harbour is a ten minute walk down the hill. The sandy Aiguablava beach is a five minute drive.

Aiguablava is an exclusive and up-market conservation area with scattered villas on the pine clad hillsides that lead down to the sheltered beaches and small marina. For lunch or dinner there is a Parador, & several other restaurants by the sea. The nearest towns are Begur, and Palafrugell about 4 kilometres away. Both are charming with a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. Begur is a beautifully restored and fashionable small hilltop town. Palafrugell is larger and offers a greater variety of shops including a wonderful Sunday market. Other small resorts within 15 minutes drive, such as Tamariu, Calella, Llafranc and Sa Tuna retain their pretty fishing village atmosphere and with good bars & restaurants. The coastal scenery is stunning with wonderful views from the long coastal walks that link the resorts. There are also extensive inland waymarked trails. Girona and Figueres, home of the Dali museum, are about 25 Km. Barcelona and the Pyrenees are just two hours.

  • 30% of the price is payable on booking, the balance is payable 8 weeks prior to the rental period.
    A returnable security deposit of £100 will be added to the balance payment.
  • Rates include cleaning and bed linen changes before and after the rental period, plus one extra per week if the letting is for two or more weeks. Bath and hand towels are provided. However clients are asked to bring their own beach towels.

Golf: The area has become an important golf destination with nine competition standard courses within a radius of 30km.

Shops: Aiguablava has one small local supermarket and there are several larger ones within one or two kilometres. Both Begur and Palafrugell have numerous fashion and other quality shops.

Restaurants and Bars: Aiguablava has a Parador plus the top quality Aiguablava Hotel, and several other good restaurants at the picturesque beach. The variety of restaurants in the area is very wide with an extensive choice of cuisine, price and quality in the local towns, resorts and countryside. If you are lucky enough to be successful in their annual ballot for tables, El Buli - voted world's best restaurant - is about 40km away near Roses. All of the nearby seaside and inland towns have cafes and bars at the beaches and town squares. For those who need more nightlife the local towns have several nightclubs and late bars.
