Freshly refurbished home with new furniture. The house has a great back patio, in-ground pool, queen beds in two rooms, full beds in other two rooms. Pool (NEW) included w/house. This beautiful home is one of the best locations in Old Key West, within walking distance to all the downtown has to offer, including Duval Street, Mallory Square--but it is quiet and secluded, too. Walk to nearby fine dining and beaches. A traditional Conch home, this historic house has been renovated and re-decorated. New pool installed November 2008. It is fresh and inviting with original art work and comfortable furnishings. Pool, central air conditioned and quiet. This home is suitable for a couple or two who are looking for a tasteful home and appreciate elegance. Not suitable for the party crowd. This house is just a short walk to the historic Southernmost House, which offers the best pool in Key West ($10/person--next to the ocean, drinks, towels--the best deal in Key West!)

I just got back from staying at the Hemingway Hideway with my
husband we had a great week .The House was clean ,quiet,
we felt right at home.I would definately recamend the house for your private getaway.I'm sad it had to end I would love to go back

Great House/Location

I loved my time at the house. It is charming and well-appointed, and quiet. The neighbors are very friendly--even the roosters! It is close to upper Duval Street (the quiet end) and the addition of the pool will make it a must stay at property in Old Key West. Well done!

Great Place to Relax in Key West

Rented the property for the month of October 08. This is a great house in a great location. Easy to get to South Beach just a few blocks away or to Ft. Zachery Park by bike. Only a 5 to 10 minute walk to all of the nightlife on Duval St. House is very comfortable, clean and well maintained.

If you are looking for a month of R and R in Key West this house would be a great place to do it.
