This family-owned, impeccably clean house is in Rehoboth Beach, just North of Dewey Beach. The open floor plan with cathedral ceiling offers an inviting appeal. It comes fully furnished with an equipped kitchen and is only a 5 block walk to the beach or a 2-3 minute car ride to Rehoboth's famous boardwalk. It’s located on a low traffic, no outlet street and has a small yard for the kids. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths and it sleeps a maximum of 10 people. The bedroom layout is as follows: the master bedroom is on the 1st floor with a queen bed and its own bathroom with stand alone shower and whirlpool tub; the 3 remaining bedrooms are upstairs with 2 queen beds and 2 twins. The loft area has a full-size sofa bed. The house offers free off-street parking for as many as 5 cars. There are 2 decks and an outside shower. No pets are allowed and we DO NOT rent for the purposes of 'beach week' or 'senior week' or to anyone under the age of 30.

Wonderful Week!

We recently spent a very enjoyable week here with two other adult couples. The owner arrived to greet us shortly after we arrived. He was very nice & informative. We had previously communicated with his daughter. She was very prompt responding to our emails, even phoning once because "it was just easier & quicker.

The house was very clean, roomy & nicely decorated. We had no problem with the master suite (other than laughingly discovering the jacuzzi is really meant for just one person!) The kitchen was well-equiped other than there was no crockpot (which we knew ahead so we brought our own). The dishwasher was noisy; we were concerned about running it but the owner told us it's an older one and to go ahead. (We chose not to run it at night). Walking to the beach wasn't too bad, but we had no children to worry about. The quiet, family beach is nice.

You might enjoy a short trip to Berlin (it's near O.C., Maryland). Ocean Downs Racetrack has harness races, and really delicious food at the clubhouse. Also worth a short ride to Milton, DE, is a tour of Dogfish Head Brewery. Lots of fun! We also enjoyed sitting out on the deck each night; very quiet and relaxing.

We definitely had a great vacation and agree with the others that this home was a good value, the owners' and their daughter were delightful to deal with and the return of our security depost was very prompt.

A great rental!

Very spacious, very clean and well equipped. Close to Dewey Beach which is much less crowded than Rehoboth. Owners are very nice and promptly returned our deposit. Property is small but very well concealed. We recommend it highly!

We recently spent a week at the house and were very happy. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. We have rented other houses over the past few years and this one is right at the top of the list. Very close to the beach, easy walk. Very short drive to Rehoboth boardwalk. Easy access to Route 1. Great location to get to everything, but also private.

The owners were great to deal with. Being greeted when we got there and getting information on the house was a very nice personal touch.

Very Comfortable Stay

Spent a week at this home recently with family. Very clean, decently decorated and equipped home that was quite spacious and an easy ride to the beach.

A couple of items you should know: to walk to the beach, you must walk 2 long blocks along Route 1; while there's a sidewalk, it wasn't great with the kids. If you're taking a lot of stuff, will want to get a parking pass (we got a weekly from Dewey -- the closer beach and MUCH less crowded than downtown Rehoboth, for $56/week).

Nice farmer's market on Rt.1 on the way to the beach which also had staples. A liquor store one block on Rt. 1 the other way was convenient, if pricey.

The master bedroom with the jacuzzi is on the ground floor just off the kitchen. There's no door on the bathroom (just a curtain). Both made the master not very private, especially with a group that included young children.

The yard is very small, although the decks were nice (the bottom deck completely shaded; the upper completely sunny). Very nice gas grill downstairs off the kitchen. Outdoor shower was great.

Very nice owners, easy to deal with, prompt with return of security deposit. An A/C problem was fixed immediately and personally supervised.

We felt the home was very good value for what we got, and we had a wonderful time. I would return!
