This recent 2005 air conditioned ranch-style house with cedar siding and mahogany decks is located on 1.8 acres of secluded forest property in Hither Woods. It features an over-sized 52' X 16' heated pool with blue stone patio and an outdoor shower. It's a 5-minute drive to Montauk village or the nearest beaches. The house's interior has a bright, airy living and dining area with cathedral ceiling, hardwood floors, light modern furniture, a flat screen cable TV and WiFi Internet. The windows and sliding glass doors frame views of undeveloped forest, inviting nature into the house. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a sliding glass door that opens onto the deck and overlooks the pool & forest. The 2 and 1/2 baths include a shower and a 'for-two' bathtub! Gourmets will enjoy the high-end stainless steel Kitchen-Aid appliances, which complement the limestone countertops and natural wood kitchen cabinets. The deck is furnished with teak furniture and a superb stainless steel gas barbecue.

The Hamptons are well known for their unique charm, thanks to well preserved architecture, carefully controlled development and wildlife reserves. Montauk itself is surrounded by national parks. Its beaches are miles long and offer a variety of activities and sports. Summer night life is fun and varied with several bars and seafood restaurants, cinema and concerts. During the winter it can be a delightful quiet getaway. Hither Hills State Park with its extensive trails and beaches is a few minutes from our house by car or bicycle. Other famous Montauk and Hamptons beaches also are close by. Access to most land and water sports is easy. Children's summer camps and other children's activities also are plentiful. In Montauk you will feel you are at the end of the world in a calm, natural environment but not far from all the comforts, activities and sophistication of the modern world.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rates go from $1000-$5200 per week/ ask for monthly fee
  • Typically, a Signed Lease, a Security Deposit ($1,000 to $2,000) plus 50% of the rent is required to reserve this property. Balance and Security Deposit Required upon signing the Lease. Owner will provide a Lease via email upon request. A $150 house cleaning fee and, when the pool is open, a $150 fee per week rented for pool & lawn maintenance + $150 cleaning fee will be deducted from security deposit. All other utilities are included in weekly rentals (except gas charges for those who choose to use the pool heater). Longer term rentals will be
    charged for utilities. Weekly rentals are Sunday 5pm to Sunday 12 noon. Cancellation is required at least 4 weeks before entry date or no refund will be made.
  • Annual or 2010 summer season rental possible

    We won't rent for proms, weddings or other parties!
