Large Beach House (5 beds/4 baths) in very private, beautiful location with miles of deserted beaches and sand bars... Comfortable airy screened-in porch & large ceramic tiled front deck for lounging. Wonderful ocean view from every room! Great front room with leisurely couches, 24' high ceilings and 12' wide sliding glass doors opening to terrace. Cosy alternate seating area with leather couch and Lazy-Boy contemporary recliners around wood burning fireplace. Separate TV room with comfortable seating, wide screen plasma TV, satellite reception and home theatre system. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, including dishwasher, side by side fridge & freezer with filtered water and ice dispenser, wall built-in convection and microwave ovens, countertop gas cooking surface, large work island with double sink and ocean view while preparing meals! Separate laundry room with washer and dryer. Large walk-in shower on the main level with four jets and overhead water.

We are located on Howe Bay, along the north-eastern coastline of the island, 10 minutes from the small harbour town of Souris (bank, post-office, groceries, hardware store, pharmacy, hospital...) and 45 minutes from Charlottetown, the island's capital city. Some nearby attractions: Greenwich Dunes National Park, a long hike through gorgeous sand dunes and interpretive path; Basin Head Beach, a favorite hot spot for many of our summer guests; North Lake Harbour, home to the tuna fisheries and deep sea fishing expeditions; The East Point Lighthouse, still in use, the most easterly point on the island; Outdoors concerts of fiddle music or 'ceilidh' on Thursday nights at the Rollo Bay field, home of the talented and well known Chaisson Family; summer theater, blueberry picking, clamming, seal watching cruises, sea-kayaking, championship golfing, confederation trail biking...

  • G.S.T. (5%) and P.S.T. (10%) are applicable as we are licensed and certified by P.E.I. Tourism.
    No extra-fees for additional people.

    We require a deposit representing one-third of the total rental fees before we mail out our confirmation for the time period, as well as maps, directions and other information. Deposit is fully refundable when cancellation is received before the end of February the year of your planned holiday. The full amount of the deposit will also be refunded after that date when property is re-booked. Reservation dates can be changed at anytime depending upon availability.

Absolutely Amazing!!

Six of us - husband, myself, my mother and three young adults (20's) stayed here and we all found the place amazing - and all of us want to come back. The house was clean and very well kept and had everything you could every require plus additional things would have never thought about - spices, lobster utensils, laundry detergent, etc. The view was amazing with the tides - no one tired of walking on the beach and we were always finding something new to discover. There was a fire pit which we sat around a couple of nights and made smores. The deck was large with lots of places to sit - the media room had lots of things to choose from - the kitchen had everything you could possibly need and then some. If you should stay here you have to visit the Fiddling Lobster restaurant - wonderful owners and excellent foot - we ate in and also took out, also Rick's Seafood had great food. We did some sightseeing and everything was very close and there was never any traffic so we got to places very quickly.
Wonderful place to stay!! Look forward to coming back!

Wowed by Beach House !

This delightful home was everything we had hoped for and much more. It was superbly equipped with our every want and need anticipated. Furnishings and linens were of the highest quality and everything was exquisitely clean. The property was equivalent to walking into a 4/5 Star hotel and the gourmet kitchen was great fun for the cooks in our group. This big house provided lots of private spaces just made for a quiet read and a great find were the clams in the bay that became part of three fantastic 'chowder' dinners.
The only problem - one week just wasn't enough. This year we have booked for two !
