The Rendezvous is located on Juniper Point in scenic Boothbay Harbor, Maine. This classic shingle style Maine cottage offers water views and many of today's amenities, including wireless internet, vcr/dvd player, and a washer and dryer on the premises. The Rendezvous is a spacious family friendly home with 4 bedrooms (all on second floor: 1 queen, 1 full, 4 twins) and 2 full bathrooms (1 up w/claw foot tub and 1 down with shower), a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room w/seating for 8, a newly decorated living room w/fireplace, front porch, screened-in porch, and back deck. The association beach is available to renters and is only a short walk, and for a fee you can enjoy tennis and use of the dock. Close to in-town restaurants, shops, art galleries, aquarium, botanical gardens and a railway village.

If you looked up Perfect Rustic Maine Cottage on wikipedia you'd find Rendezvous Cottage. At least one person in our group would say on a daily basis "This is SO Maine!" We can't say enough good things about this cottage. It's in a beautiful location, clean, spacious and comfortable and the owners are helpful and friendly. My daughter loved all the retro toys and books (can't get Don't Break the Ice over here in the UK!!). Plenty to do in nearby Boothbay Harbor and you can walk to Tugs Pub (just across the swing bridge to Newagen). Scenery is unbeatable, and the sound of the lighthouse (or was it a foghorn?) at night was very soothing. I only hope we can stay again next summer.
