The home was a bit large for just the 2 of us. The owner was very friendly and most helpful on our arrival. We found the neighborhood to be very convenient and safe.
The kitchen was very modern and the living area was spaceous. Furniture could be updated in living room and would suggest replacing carpet with tile in bedrooms.
All in all we had an enjoyable stay.
Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed your stay at our lovely home. We have many clients from Canada who all always great, polite guests and we appreciate your business. After your stay, we upgraded our living room and took out the older TV set and replaced it with a 50" Plasma HD wall mounted TV set and WOW what a picture! you can now watch TV while floating in the pool!! We also added two new beautiful "retro" chairs which makes the seating area in the living room that much more comfortable. Again, thank you and it was great having you!

Spacious and authentic peaceful sanctuary simply beautiful

Just a quick note to say thank you. We stayed there last weekend and had a blissfully relaxing time.
We particularly loved the open breezy architecture -

Instantly inviting and relaxing.

Perfect blend of authentic visual beauty -lot's of palm tree, flowers and humming birds.
Combined with a spacious - very cool authentically retro layout.

We felt safe, comfortable and at home immediately.

Our favorite part is the indoor out concept it's such a rare find! Really

I actually fell asleep outside - for hours! Twice!
Something I can never do - even here in Beverly Hills.

We're so happy to have found our new weekend getaway
Palm Desert jewel.

Nice Stay

The house was decorated well. It had a modern retro look. It is located close to shopping , and in a nice neighborhood. The backyard is great for relaxing, complete with songbirds and contemporary art. The yard needed some attention (uncut grass and unusable dirty pool). The shower in the main bedroom did not work. One of the two screen doors leading to the back was stuck/broken.The electricity needs some work (breakers go out when using blow dryer).The Owner was helpful and very involved in our stay. He is very protective of his house, which was overwhelming and rude.


We let the owner know we had accidentally left important/expensive medication and would be calling again to arrange a way to get it the following weekend, when we called he let us know that the medicine had been thrown away.
During the phone call we were accused of destroying the house. Which we had spent considerable amount of time cleaning before our depature. (despite a stain which the large cleaning deposit would have taken care of).
Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed your stay! Just to let you know we do have pool service 2x per week and during the remodel of the house, all of the sliding glass doors in the entire house were replaced, are brand new and in perfect working condition. No idea what happened to your medication, our cleaning service would have turned in anything they found which was nothing. As far as damage to the property, we did have to replace carpet in bedroom and living room among other items at our own expense as we do not charge any security deposit. Anyway, happy traveling and happy trails to you!!

Owners were great - Very accomodating and friendly. Made us feel very welcome before we arrived. Great kitchen. Very clean. Only drawback is living room furniture is a bit warn and "Olympic size pool" is a bit of an exaggeration.
