A spacious and tastefully decorated villa with its private pool (6 x 16m) and adjacent summer-kitchen, set in the midst of vineyards. At walking distance from the perched village of Flayosc, with its many shops, bars and restaurants. The ground floor has three double bedrooms, a shower-room with WC, a separate WC, a small kitchen and a large sitting-room with dining area. On the first floor there is a larger kitchen with dining area, comfortable sitting-room with a large terrace overlooking the garden and pool area. On the first floor there are two more double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room, and one seperate shower room, both with WC's There is a boule and table tennis area close to the pool. In the garden there are many tranquil and shaded areas under half-century old olive trees, pine and oak trees. An ideal setting for a group of friends or for two families sharing their holiday. The property is fenced in with automatic gates. There is plenty of space for car parking

The Village: Flayosc is the perfect location to relax and enjoy the beauty of Provence, only 40 minutes away from the busy tourist spots of the coast. The village offers excellent shops for food, a weekly market, pharmacy, bank, several bars and restaurants, laundry/dry cleaner and a wine cooperative. It also has a tourist office offering excellent information about the area.

The Area: Flayosc is only 40 minutes away from the sandy beaches of the St. Tropez bay and the dramatic scenery of Gorges de Verdon, the Grand Canyon of Europe. There are many nearby villages worth visiting; the Tuesday market of Lorgues, the tile factories in Salernes, the grottes in Villecroze, the water fall in Sillans La Cascade, the 11th Century Abbey in Le Thoronet etc. Olive mills, domaines and chateaux that offer wine tasting, daily markets and first class gourmet restaurants. There are 15 challenging golf courses within an hour's drive.

We had a lovely holiday at this property which was exactly what it said on the tin. Spacious, well equipped and with nice views. The pool was great and the house very well located for discovering Provence. Tourtours, Entrecasteaux, Cotignac - all a must for a visit. We had a fun day in St Tropez as well which was easy to get to via Saint Maxime (recommend the ferry to avoid traffic). Took bikes for the whole family although didn't use them much en famille as the hills proved a challenge for the children so probably wouldn't bother if we return (which we hope to do).
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
