Photos and Description of this Delaware holiday condo - 3 BR, 2 BA, Sleeps 6-8

This unit is completely renovated in 2006. Our condo is located in the West Lake Section of the premier Sea Colony resort. It is a three bedroom, two bath, first-floor unit. The unit has a large, partially covered deck ideal for sunning as well as sitting in the shade. The beach, outdoor pool and the tennis center are all close by. We purchased our unit this winter and have completely redone it; to include all new furniture, kitchen, lighting and paint. The condo contains a master suite with a queen bed, TV, private bath and access to deck. Second bedroom contains two twin beds. The third bedroom, which doubles as a den has a queen sized sofa bed, TV and DVD. Living room has a large sectional sofa which comfortably sleeps two, large TV and DVD. The unit comes with broadband internet (wired and wireless) as well as free long distance phone service.

Our condo is situated inside the nationally renowned Sea Colony West Tennis Resort. It's about 1/2 mile to the beach. The community is meticulously maintained and most pleasant.

Additional information about rental rates

  • RENTAL WEEKS RUN SATURDAY TO SATURDAY ONLY.

    $250 security deposit required. It will be promptly returned after your stay so long as the place is treated reasonably. I'm not interested in being unreasonable with the security deposit.
  • Linens are not provided. However I can have rental linens delivered to the unit for an additional $75.

    After May 1, 2010 until Labor day, there is a $35 per person Sea Colony recreation fee to be purchased in order to use the facilities at the resort.

With an additional recreation fee ($35 Peak Season/ $10 Off-season), all Sea Colony amenities are made available to renters, including indoor/outdoor pools and tennis facilities, fitness centers, spa/jacuzzi, game room, private and guarded ocean beach, biking trails and walking paths, and a free shuttle throughout the community.

Once you finish exploring those options, downtown Bethany Beach bandstand and boardwalk is within walking distance via beach or road. Quaint Bethany offers shopping, dining, and nightly boardwalk performers. Located three miles from Sea Colony is Carl M. Freeman's Bear Trap Dunes - recently voted 'Best Golf Course at the Beach.' Clean and comfortable Condo; great location.

This was a clean and well-maintained home in Sea Colony. The condo is located just steps away from one of the 12 swimming pools, and right in front of a shuttle stop to the beach. The interior is exactly as the photos show. The beds were comfortable, all of the furniture seemed on the new side, I traveled with 2 adults and 4 children, and we all fit very comfortably in the home. It was also very quiet (it is an end unit).
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

I would highly recommend this property. The unit was clean, well appointed and the owner, Blaise, was a pleasure to work with. The location was perfect. Sea Colony is the best for a family beach vacation.
