This delightful cottage is nestled on a beautiful wooded lot on Lake McKissack. The property is less than a mile from public boat launch and only 1 mile from Carrabelle Beach. This is the ideal location for fishing and and enjoyment of the white sands of Carrabelle Beach. The cottage is furnished very nicely and includes everything needed for your stay including linens. There is also plenty of room for parking your boat or jet skis. We also just built a new 30 foot dock on the water and lighted the walkway to the lake. Now accepting Visa & MasterCard. Kayak, sailboat, powerboat, pontoon boat, jet ski, bicycle, moped rentals close by

Carrabelle is one of Florida's favorite fishing places offering great off shore fishing and fresh water fishing in the Carrabelle River, New River, and Crooked River. Carrabelle Beach, which is just outside town, is a beautiful white sandy beach for sunbathing, shelling, and fishing. St. James Golf Course is just 6 mile east of Carrabelle. This is a new world class course and offers a great restaurant and golf shop. To the west of Carrabelle is the historic town of Apalachicola offering lots of artist's handicrafts, antiques, and great seafood. St. George Island is only 15-20 minutes away and has one the most beautiful and pristine beaches in the country. There is also great surf fishing, boat rental, scooter rental, bike rental, and shopping.

Notes: We have just built a new 30' dock for fun and fishing. Hi speed Internet in cottage. Kayaks, canoes, Bicycles, jet skis, boat, and scooter rentals available. Local maps and 'things to do' guides in cottage. We also have several docks on the Carrabelle & New River if you need a place to keep your boat during your stay or if you just want to lounge around or fish. There are only two cottages in this gated community.

Stayed for a week after Easter with my husband , teens, and nephews. We LOVED IT!!...A house right on the lake and literally 2 min from the beach!!! The owners are absolutely awesome!! Very nice people to deal with! We will be back!! Loved it, Loved it, Loved it!!!

Our family loved this cottage! The owners are EXTREMELY nice. The cottage was very clean and just a short drive to Carabelle beach or downtown Carabelle. Most of our beach time was spent at the state park on St. George Island (15 min drive) which is absolutely beautiful. My children (ages 8 & 9) loved being on the lake-we saw lots of baby frogs and turtles. The only thing that went wrong on our vacation was that it went by too quick. I highly recommend this cottage and plan on return visits.
