Beautiful three season cottage in the woods of Mahkeenac Heights at the top of the hill on a quiet dead end road. House on 2 acres provides privacy, coziness and true Berkshire charm, comfortable for seven people. Central stone, wood-burning fireplace, heated eat-in porch with storm and screened windows, letting the outside in; first floor king-size bed in master bedroom and private half bath; first floor double bed in 2nd bedroom; full bath off the living room; and twin beds in the loft, futon on porch. Fully equipped kitchen, breakfast nook, ceiling fans, portable washer and dryer, piano. Walk to the Stockbridge Bowl Beach and use of town courts, 5 minutes from Tanglewood. (Sorry, no smoking or pets.)
