Clean and comfortable place to stay. With ample room for a family
We had a great time at this Bungalow. A nice sized secure garden was good for the kids to play in. The surrounding area had plenty to do and enjoy for our three generations. Easy to walk to the beach, and close enough to pop back if we forgot something. Wouldl definitely stay here again.

Great Location
Lovely clean and bright property. Kitted out well with all essentials. Property is in a great location being so close to the beach and only a short walk along the beach, sea wall or main road into the centre of Dymchurch. The inclusion of the beach toys (body boards, buckets, spades etc) was a particularly nice addition. I only only one criticism, and a very small one at that. A pint of milk on arrival would have been nice. All in all a lovely relaxing week. We would happily re-visit and hope we can soon.

great location, clean bungalow with all utilities
Lovely bungalow, spotlessly clean nicely furnished and decorated, far better than the normal holiday properties we stay in. Double bed was very comfortable after a long day out and the 2nd television a real treat. Dymchurch and area was very pretty and unspoilt with lots to do and explore. The owners had thought of everything walk books, maps and even a tide table. The beach is all flat, sand and easy to walk on, lovely for children. We had a lovely holiday and would return without a doubt, already thinking about a September break

About the host

Hosted by Mr or Mrs Turner

Host profile image
We bought the bungalow when our children were young and spent most school holidays there until they both grew up. We now use it weekends spending a lot of time updating it and making it a holiday home we would like to stay in ourselves.

Why they chose this property

We stayed a New Beach and walked into the village and admired the bungalows from the sea wall. The main road follows the sea wall along the coast and this was one of the only places where it went inland.
As a bungalow it is easy to maintain with a footpath to the sea wall.

What makes this property unique

Very few properties in Dymchurch are between the main road and the beach. So with young children you can spend the whole week on the beach and where the bungalow is located its far enough from the village for the beach to be quite but near enough to walk in for the amusements, shops, fish and chips and train station.
If it does rain with Canterbury, Rye and Dover within easy reach there is enough to occupy young children or adults
