Accredited by National Tourist Organisation, The Villa Kissos is situated in a beautiful, countryside location just minutes from gorgeous wild beaches. Surrounded by Corfu's vineyards, the Kissos has an acre of lavishly planted gardens, its own citrus orchard and it's location and style provide guests with great privacy and tranquillity. The house itself has been built with great care and sympathy and provides spacious and extremely comfortable accommodation for up to seven guests. The Kissos has three large bedrooms, two bathrooms and a huge living/dining area and well-equipped kitchen. The Villa is encircled by a wide covered veranda and the gardens boast a compact plunge pool, barbecue area and plentiful seating/sunbathing areas. The house is appointed with top quality furnishings and provides good amenities including a music system, satellite TV and air-conditioning. As the location is somewhat off the beaten track, the Villa Kissos is rented with a hire car included in the cost.

The Villa Kissos is located in the area of Halikounas, known for its spectacular and beautiful beaches on the South-Western coast of the island, and lies at the northern point of Corfu's only lake, Korission. A designated area of outstanding natural beauty and nature conservation, visitors will enjoy the quiet, unspoiled local surroundings and opportunities for hiking and walking and, perhaps, painting and photography. The lake attracts some exceptional bird watching - herons, golden finches and kingfishers amongst hundreds of other species. The least developed part of the island, Halikounas has few houses and NO traditional beach resorts but is home to Corfu's fruit growing and vineyard region. Neighbouring the Kissos is the Livadiotis winery, where you can sample and buy their popular and unique wines. The Kissos is about 10 minutes countryside drive to the main Corfu road, offering easy access to other parts of the island. The Byzantine Gardiki castle is nearby to explore!

Notes to the rental rates

Rental Rates shown are exclusive of transfer costs, flights and insurance. We expect all our guests to be covered by adequate travel insurance. Rental Rates include provision of Category A Hire Car (i.e. 4-seater). If guests wish to upgrade their vehicle, this may be arranged in advance and will incur additional charges. Rental Rates include provision of bed linens and bathroom towels (house linens are not for use beyond the villa - please bring your own beach towels) and housekeeping services twice per week. If guests require more frequent maid and/or linen change service, this may be arranged in advance and will incur additional charges.
Provision of a cot is made subject to availability at no extra cost but must be booked well in advance.

40% of the total rental price to be paid as confirmation deposit on booking. 60% Balance to Be Paid No Later Than Six Weeks Prior To Departure To Corfu. A returnable Security Bond of £125.00 To Be Paid (irrespective of length of stay or number of guests) in Separate Cheque with Second Stage Payment. These funds will be returned to guests as soon after their departure as is practical.
N.B. FOR THOSE GUESTS PAYING IN EUROS, WE WILL PROVIDE BANK DETAILS. ANY BANK CHARGES PAYABLE FOR A DIRECT BANK TRANSFER TO BE MET BY CLIENT.

| Notes: | The small freshwater plunge pool is designed as a 'cool-off' facility and is not suitable for boisterous games. As it is about 1.3 meters in depth, small children should be accompanied at all times. The gardens are completely enclosed (with lockable gates) and provide children with a safe play environment. The Kissos does not offer air-conditioning but has fly-screens on all of the windows and provides fans. The inclusive car is a Category A. The vehicle can be upgraded, specific to the guests' needs, but this may incur additional charges. The nearby village of Ag Matheos (2 Kms) has small local shops for all your catering needs. The mountain of the same name (St Matthew) offers spectacular views, to both sides of the island and beyond, has a beautiful monastery and is surrounded by an ancient and fragrant forest (accessible by foot only). From a starting point of Halikounas, there are truly lovely beaches and hamlets to explore on this far less visited side of Corfu |
