This is a beautiful cozy beach front Cape Cod cottage with views of Lewis Bay and the Atlantic Ocean that can be enjoyed from almost every room. Its location on Lewis Bay is steps from Colonial Acres beach in West Yarmouth. The home features 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, full bath, a fireplace in the living room with two sets of glass sliders that open to fresh salt air and summer breezes, a dining area, deck, outside shower and lots of Cape Cod charm. You'll enjoy watching the activity in the bay, windsurfers, sailboat races and the ferries traveling to and from Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, What-a-View! The National Seashore bike paths and some of the area's finest golf courses are only minutes away. Shopping, restaurants and miniature golf are all located nearby. Barnstable Municipal Airport and ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard are within three miles. Our family has rented this home for the past 3 years and plan on coming back for a few more! Our kids just love it here and you can't beat the location! Just a few short steps to the beach and the convenience of renting this home is unbelievable. The view is unbeatable overlooking Lewis Bay and watching the boats come and go. The sunsets at night are just beautiful setting over the water. The home is very quaint, spacious and comfortable for the whole family. We enjoy cooking on the grill and relaxing in the lounge chairs when not on the beach. The location of Colonial Acres is quiet and safe for the kids for any family (...don't forget the ice cream truck for the kids!). The beach is a little rocky in some areas, but if you enjoy rock/shell skipping, it's perfect. Everyone gathers at the beach for a quiet day filled with swimming, fishing, reading and just friendly fun with others. We look forward to coming back next Summer! Thank you for opening your home to allows other to enjoy !

My husband and I have been going to the Cape for over 30 years. Initially we stayed at the homes of family and friends. We actually stumbled upon this property 4 years ago and we love it! The owners are very friendly and accessible if needed. We found the rental to have everything that we want or need. This cottage is very clean and the neighborhood is very quiet. This property is just ideallic. The location is perfect. We love the easy access to the beach but we also love just relaxing in the backyard where you feel like you are still at the beach without the sand. In addition being able to see all the activity going in and out of Hyannis Harbor is just mesmerizing. Bring your binoculars! We particularly like the West Yarmouth area as you can easily access activities and good restaurants in and around Hyannis as well as the lower Cape. We highly recommend this property nd trust that you too will fall in love with it.
