Welcome to Port Wood Cove Beach House! Enjoy a relaxing vacation in this deluxe, fully equipped cottage overlooking the spectacular Northumberland Strait, on the Southern shore of Eastern P.E.I. The beautiful sandy beach is just twenty meters off the front deck! The cottage is nestled in a quiet location, with an open concept kitchen, dining, living room area and vaulted ceilings. Also features ceramic and hardwood floors throughout and all the modern conveniences. Relax on the long sandy beach or large fully furnished deck or screened in room and enjoy the magnificent view of the Northumberland Strait. You may also, at times, be able to view the seals basking on the rocks nearby. Beautiful sunsets, bonfires at night, and the sounds of the soothing waves can also be enjoyed from this location, along with hiking, biking, kayaking, clam digging and beach combing. Close to World Class Golf Courses and the Historic City of Charlottetown. Lots to see and do from this spectacular location.

Port Wood Cove Beach House is located 5 kilometers from the WoodIslands Ferry, which crosses the Northumberland Strait to the Province of Nova Scotia. A 40 minute drive from the Historic City of Charlottetown, and a 20 minute drive to the town of Montague, where one can find banks, grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies, and a hospital. 10 minute drive to the villages of Murray River and Murray Harbour with restaurants and unique shops. Nearby attractions within 5 kilometers include: Plough The Waves Center, which holds a tourist information bureau, several small shops and a liquor store; Northumberland Provincial Park, with a supervised swimming area; Rossignol Estate Winery; and Crabby's, a fresh seafood vendor. Lots to see and do close by from this spectacular beach front location. Two excellent golf courses are just a 5-10 minute drive away!

    Shorter stays may be welcome during low season. Please inquire.

    Fifty percent of amount due at time of booking with remainder plus 10%PST and 5%GST(TAX) due at time of arrival. Payments payable by cheque or cash, preferably in Canadian dollars; however, US dollars based on daily foreign exchange rates accepted. If you cancel, and we re-rent the property and do not incur additional expenses, you will receive a full refund of deposit. If we do not re-rent the property, no refund shall be remitted.

We were very pleased with this cottage. It was very neat when we arrived and all our needs were seen to. There was a bottle of wine, jam, candies, soap, toothpaste, etc all laid out for us. There were plenty of towels, dishes, cutlery etc and all of it was excellent quality. There were sea kayaks, bogey boards and sand toys. There was loads of outdoor furniture and a bbq. The owner was warm and very approachable. I would certainly recommend this property for anyone wanting a beach holiday. The beach was quiet, the water was calm and the sand was gorgeous.
There was a colony of seals on the rocks that we could almost walk to. The tide pools provided lots of exploration for the children.
