When you enter the Retreat the hallway opens to a sunken Master Suite with cathedral ceilings. The well appointed kitchen is in the other direction. The kitchen is light, bright and roomy with its own breakfast table. The dining area overlooks the sunken, fully furnished living room with a welcoming fireplace, cathedral ceilings and expansive windows with wonderful water views. The Master Suite is appointed with a Queen-size bed, spacious walk-in closet, full bath and a wall of widows with views to the water. There is a service area in the hall with a stairway to the upper sleeping level rooms, an enclosed laundry area (washer/dryer) and a roomy half bath. The upper level sleeping area has two bedrooms, the King Room features a King-sized bed, while the Twin Room has 2 Twin-sized beds. Attached to the King-Room is an alcove with a twin sized bed suitable for younger guests. The upper level is served by a full bath.

This place actually exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable, clean, well equipped, organized, and stocked with basics beyond what we ever found in renting condos in Florida for many years. Especially appreciated the notebook left for us as renters with all sorts of information regarding the property, as well as maps, brochures, etc. about the area that we found helpful. The pictures of the landscape don't do it justice, must have been taken in the spring. The swimming dock is a nifty bonus for swmimmers. Also appreciated the cookbook and the classic movie DVDs.

This house has everthing. Comfortable reclining sofas, nicely appointed beds and linens, and a well stocked kitchen all set in a spectacular setting close to town. Couldn't be better.
