Looking for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing family vacation or a romantic getaway? Look no further. Located on beautiful Sandusky Bay (Lake Erie) in historic Vickery, Ohio,That is only 6 miles from Sandusky city limits, this waterfront home features two fire places, a huge deck facing the bay, from which to enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Amenities include but are not limited to a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, washer and dryer, cable TV, VCR/DVD player, stereo etc. This waterfront home sleeps eight with three bedrooms with two full size beds a sleeper bed, a twin bed and a full bath. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner outside on your private deck. The gas grill and picnic table and umbrella await you. Or stay inside and utilize the full kitchen and dining area. You might even want to dine at one of the many fine restaurants in the area. Minutes away from Monsoon Lagoon, Deer Park, African Safari, Cedar Point, Kelly's Island and Put-in-Bay.

Hiking and birding enthusiasts will want to visit Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge located in Oak Harbor. The refuge is a major feeding, nesting and resting area for migrating birds. The park has over 8 miles of nature trails. For some spine-tingling fun visit Cedar Point Amusement Park. With 16 coasters and over 20 rides for the younger children plus an 18 acre water park you can't pass up this fun. Enjoy browsing the many craft and gift shops throughout downtown Marblehead. Spend a day at Cedar Point, just 20 minutes from the home. If you have a boat, bring it along. An easy access boat launch is just two minutes from the home. Cruise over to Cedar Point, Kelly's Island, and Put-n-Bay. Walk on a sand bar in the middle of Sandusky Bay. Enjoy water skiing, para sailing, and tubing. Or just relax on the water's edge. There's so much to choose from. Love to fish? Set out on Lake Erie for a day of the best walleye fishing in the country. If you feel Lake Erie is too rough, you can always fish right outside your back door in Sandusky Bay. Duck, Goose and wild Turkey hunter's paradise. Just minutes away from White Willow Point Game Reserve.

Small-mouth and large-mouth bass are plentiful along the rocky shoreline throughout the bay, not to mention the super perch fishing. If you just want to go out on a boat, boat rides, tours, and fishing charters are available within the area. Or rent your own boat or jet ski in Sandusky. Para sailing is also available. Perfect Non-Hotel Vaction!!!

Our stay at the house was great! It is a older house but everything was VERY clean and comfortable! We had 8 people and no one was on top of each other. They had toys, coloring books, TV/DVD, dishes, cookware, grills, firewood, ect.
It saved us so much money to not rent hotel room and eat out for all of our meals. Since we go to Cedar Point every year this house will rented by us every year!

Peaceful Getaway!

We were very pleased with this property! It is even bigger than the photos appear! It is very nice and clean and the owner was readily available if needed. We would definitely return again! The beds were very comfortable, just like home. So nice to have laundry right there on the property. Close to all attractions, or just relax on the deck overlooking the bay. Even has a fire ring for campfires.

We found this rental to be wonderful! We WILL be returning!
We were two adults and six teens. Very nice clean home with lots of room inside and out to spread out. Beautiful views! Nice quiet location! Backyard fishing!
Lots of variety in tourist attraction in the area!
Rental owners are very friendly and accommodating!

Relaxing home away from home.

Clean, spacious and comfortable. The view is beautiful!!! My kids watched their first full sunset. And there were toys and games for the kids to play with and a sandbox, even children's books. The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently close to Port Clinton (great restaurant & winery called Mon Ami), Marblehead (antiquing) and Sandusky (Cedar Point).
My only complaint was that there is supposed to be a swimming area but the dock was blown down in a storm. But the fishing was great fun and the price was very reasonable. Also, my 3 year-old left her stuffed animal there and the owners mailed it to us! You don't get that kind of care at hotels. Overall, we loved our stay here and hope to return, we still need to check out the nature preserve!
