This new, luxurious and very well maintained development is only a short walk from the Puerto Banus beach and famous marina. There's a small supermarket nearby and a large shopping complex within 15 minutes away. The property benefits from an enclosed garden and security system. The apartment itself boasts marble flooring with 2 twin bedrooms (1 with en-suite) and a spacious living room with dining room combined. The separate fully fitted kitchen, is complete with washing machine and dishwasher. The apartment also has from 2 televisions, Basic SKY TV, DVD,CD player and a Sony PlayStation. Lorcrimar Phase 3 is a new development in Puerto Banus, near Marbella. Puerto Banus is fast becoming a hot spot for celebrities and is full of vibrant people, fast cars, big yachts and stylish shops. There are many golf courses, shops and other amenities near by, as well as Marbella, Fuengirolla, San Pedro and Gibraltar are all a short distance away. There is a good choice of supermarkets nearby, and Puerto Banus has a huge 'El Corte Englaise Hypercor',hypermarket. The bus service from Malaga, in the North, to Gibralter in the South is excellent. There is a fast 'sports' ferry which runs to and from Banus to Marbella, all day long. This makes for a very pleasent day ou, and the trip takes only 30 mins each way. The historic town of Ronda lies about 40k to the north, and there is a regular bus service, or you can drive there in about 40 mins.

Gibralter is also about 40k down the good coastal road.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Easter and Christmas and New Year - 450per week. Part weeks are negotiable depending on flight times and availability.

    If you wish to book, there is a 20% deposit payable as soon as you decide the dates you wish, and providing they are available. This will hold the property for you. Then the remaining 80% balance is payable 6 weeks prior to your arrival at the apartment.
    There is a fully returnable deposit of 120 euros, to cover breakages and other damage, which will be given to the agents who will 'meet and greet' you, and they will return the deposit to you, as you leave.

    The 4 night short breaks are based on 2 people, and for more than 2 people there may be a slight increse to cover the laundry costs. ie. a 4 night break in April, over 2 weekday nights, and 2 weekend nights, (Fri. & Sat.) would cost £280 for 2 people, and would cost £10 more per extra person, approx.
  • The 20% deposit required to confirm the booking of the property on the dates that have been agreed, can be paid by cheque, payable to Mr Stuart Crombie, and sent to; Mr Stuart Crombie, 1, Stirling Road, Edinburgh, EH5 3HZ. (mob 00447802 512 333).
    Or please pay electronically, and the bank details will be emailed to you, at the time that payment has to be arranged.
  • When the deposit has been paid, please note that the balance must be paid in full , 6 weeks before the date of departure. Please advise us by email, as soon as possible after the full payment has been made, what your flight times and flight nos are, and also your departure aiport from the UK, (or whichever country you are leaving from), and which your arrival airport in Spain is, (i.e. Malaga). Likewise your departure airport and home destination airport. This enables us to arrange for our agent to meet you, and hand over keys, and directions on how to get to the apartment.

Golf: There are two sets of Golf Clubs in the store room, however to play on most of the courses, you will need a certificate of your handicap from your own Golf Club. The nearest golf course, which does not require a handicap certificate, is at Magna de Marbella, and is about 4 or 5 minutes in a taxi from the apartment .This is only a 9 hole course, but the cost is very reasonable to play there, and there is a very attractive clubhouse/ restaurant.

Lovely Holiday Rental

After a three week stay, we can't wait to go back! The apartment is in a great location- close to the shops and restaurants in the port, and just a 10 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed walking along the beachfront to Marbella, and shopping at the Saturday market in the Plaza de Toros. If you have a car, Ronda and the pueblo blancos are just a 30 minute drive away, and Seviila and Granada are just 2 hours from the flat. There is a bus nearby which goes to these locations as well. Gibralter and even Tangier make for interesting day trips.

The flat is clean with a good kitchen. The decoration is tasteful and the walls appeared freshly painted. The upholstery and beds looked brand new. Great value and a memorable holiday.

Lovely apartment, clean and well equiped. Great view from the terrace of the beautiful gardens and the pool. The pool was safe and well supervised, and we had lots of space to sunbathe on the loungers. Thanks for a great holiday.

Lorcrimar Phase 3 review

Property was well equipped but could have been cleaner and in need of a touch of paint here and there. Management company were excellent. Nearest supermarket was an uphill 15 mins walk. Best supermarket was a short drive away. By far the biggest disappointment was we couldn't use our lilos in the pool. Considering you save up so much money and look forward to a holiday all year, this was a massive disappointment especially for the kids. Don't understand why this is not allowed. However, the pool was never busy and was very relaxing if you just wanted to swim and sunbathe. Restaurants nearby were expensive so best bet is to go to Puerto Banus centre as there are plenty of restaurants to suit most budgets.
Overall we had a very enjoyable holiday as we used the property as a base and had a car to get around. We managed to use a pool in another complex which allowed the kids to use their lilos.
