Private lake front house at the mouth of Spring Creek. Surrounded by 700 acres of pine woods, the house faces one of the best fishing spots on the lake. A brand new 2 slip dock is available. The 'Preacher's Dock', on one of the best bream beds, is right next door. The house is very new and fully equipped. Comes complete with central heat and air, washer and dryer, full kitchen w/microwave, satellite dish with local channels. and a wonderful screened porch looking out at the lake. The lot is shady with many mature long leaf pines. There is a nice grassy space just off the dock where a picnic table can be set up next to a sandy shallow area for kids to paddle.

From Hwy 374, south of Donalsonville, Ga. you would proceed to Sealy Point Park. At Sealy Point Park you would turn left onto Seminole Shores Rd. and go to the end of the road, approximately two miles. The house sits in a meadow in the pine woods.

Fishing: Lake Seminole is a prime fishing lake home to many bass tournaments. The Lake House is situated in a prime area with easy access to the main lake and Spring Creek. The boat dock has two slips and is wide enough to accommodate a pontoon boat. Use of a boat can be negotiated. Sealy Point Park is the nearest launch point and is only two miles by road and less by water. The house is directly across the lake from Wingate's Landing.

Hunting: The house is located at the mouth of Spring Creek. This makes for easy access to all the duck hunting locations. It so happens that the house and dock sit in one of the prime areas, directly across Spring Creek from the Georgia State Duck Preserve.

Other Sports: In addition to the obvious water sports available on the lake. The house is not far (15 miles) from the Donalsonville Country Club. Golf and tennis are readily available there. The distance to Bainbridge is less than 25 miles. Tennis teams participating in USTA Tournaments have stayed here and commuted to their matches. The distance to Tallahassee is approximately 60 miles. There are many activities in the Florida Capital including restaurants, cultural, and sports. Atypical trip to Atlanta is four and one half hours. The drive is easy with the majority being four lane and from Columbus to Atlanta being interstate.

Very Comfortable, spacious home

This is a very comfortable, quiet, spacious home on the lake. The accommodations are great. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. It is close to a boat ramp, and the dock on the property has electric and running water.

If you bring your boat, follow the shore line from the channel north of the property. There are virtually no submerged stumps near this shore line.

Great Family Week

We had an awesome time. We caught loads of fish right off the dock. Its a quiet cove that feels almost like you have the lake to yourself. There was tons of space for us and our 5 kids. Everything we could have needed was available. We are actually looking at properties for sale on the same road now we loved it so much.

Home away from home

TThis house had all the comforts of home and great solitude. We were two couples in our mid-60's and the split plan of the house provided each of us with our own area. We would definitely return and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quiet weekend. The Spring Creek Resort is a great place to eat and very close by.

Great stress buster

I am 61 and my wife is 57. We both suffer from physical limitations (arthritis, me; car accident, wife), but we had no problems at all. The house is great, well appointed, and very spacious, with large rooms and an open floorplan that makes it feel even larger. Three full baths so that each bedroom has it's own private bath, and a great living rooom, kitchen/ dining combination. The screen porch is a haven for just relaxing and reading, or just enjoying nature. The fishing is superb. We were here during a week dominated by a low pressure system, and the fishing was still good. The dock is solid, well built and able to accomodate most boats. I would highly recommend this location for anyone who is genuinely interested in a quiet relaxing stay and great fishing as an added bonus. My wife and I will be back as soon as possible.

Family getaway Spring break

We had a very enjoyable time. Felt we where camping but still had the amenities and comfort to keep Momma happy.
Arrived to a clean and good variety of kitchen ware to handle a daily 3 squares.Home open and rooms large beds in all rooms comfortable. Came prepared with favorite foods area resturants a bit of a drive and no beer sold on Sundays Dad had his bass boat tied at the boat slip so rolling out at dawn to fish for trophy bass that have been busy bedding this week was almost too easy. Best part lake almost his own no crowds like the beaches in past vacations. Kids had the zoo in the back yard. With the many sightings of deer,turkey,owls, aligators, turtles,fox,racoons,water fowl of many variety as well as several soaring eagles and osprey swooping down and pulling fish out of the water effortlessly. With plenty of room to run and ride bikes safely. Night fishing on the dock was there favorite the dock light seemed to attrack evey fish and bug in the area. A couple of mosquito lanterns and kids armed with dip nets and swatters made catch and release with out hook and line posible a good way to extract the last of there energy before settling in for night with a little tv the last thing on there mind even though available. A positive negative my cell phone had little to no service in most of the area. made for one of the quitest gettaways ever but no way to keep in touch if needed. A set of radio 2 ways may be better alternative while out exploreing the area. A local gas station 3 miles away with phone used to check on things back home bring phone card. Have already recommended site to several fishing buddies who knew we had made arrangements to go. May have to book earlier next year to be sure we can do it all over again.
