There are some stunning beaches close by with the closest being about 450metres.The nearest beach is Centiannes with the reasonably priced 'O Stop' Restaurant & Snack bar, Praia de Marinha,Benagil and Albandera all with good beach restaurants are a must, around these areas there are some really good sensibly priced restaurants. Serving
excellent local fayre, fish is recommended but the meat is equally as good. Tel No's for many of the local restaurants are in the villa, along with much more local information.
Faro airport is approximately 40 minute easy drive along the coastal motorway. If you would need picking up or going back to the airport this can be arranged.

Carvoeiro has an abundance of bars, restaurants and shops that sell everything that you could possibly need, there are banks and cash withdrawal machine. There are 2 large water parks within 10 minutes drive of Carvoeiro and Zoomarine. This is great fun for the whole family within a 20 min drive, Algarve shopping is also a 20 min drive with many of the high street shops at Portugese prices approx a third cheaper.
A New shopping centre AQUA has just opened in Portimao with the Algarves first PRIMARK amongst its abundance of shops,all of the regular British High street shops are in all the main shopping centres often with cheaper prices than the UK.

Nearest Skiing is in Spain approx 4 hours away.
Golf:
There are 12 Golf courses within a 35 min drive the nearest being on site,Vale de Milho par 3 nine hole course.
Gramacho,Pinta,Salgados,Amodeira,Silves,are within 15 mins of the villa.
