Our condo is on the 12th floor of a perfectly located, secured complex. Fajardo is located in the eastern region of the island, only 40 minutes from San Juan. The view from the balcony is spectacular, the most beautiful view in all of Puerto Rico! From our balcony you can see the El Conquistador Resort & Casino, Palomino, Palominito, Culebra and Vieques islands, Icacos, and on a clear day you can see St. Thomas. Relax and enjoy your vacation in our condo, which includes a living/dining room, brand new open kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, stove, 2 refrigerators, and other major appliances. Other amenities include air conditioning in both bedrooms, flat screen TV with cable, telephone, internet connection, laundry room in building, large 110' x 76' private pool, basketball courts, tennis courts, and swings for the kids.

We are only minutes from beautiful Seven Seas and Luquillo beaches. We are also located near the El Conquistador Resort & Casino, Fajardo Inn, Paradisis Resort, and the Westin Rio Mar Hotel. These resorts offer beautiful golf courses, casinos and nightlife. You may also experience the many spa treatments available at each of their own unique spa facilities. The Bacardi Rum Distillery, the largest in the world, is only a 15-minute drive from San Juan and is one of the most popular visitors’ destinations in Puerto Rico.

The climate is as close to perfect as it can get, averaging 83°F (22.7°C) in the winter and 85°F (29.4°C) in the summer. In other words, it’s always summer! The trade winds cool the coastal towns and the temperature decreases as you go up into the higher mountains. Puerto Rico is in the Atlantic Time Zone, but does not observe Daylight Savings Time. The island uses standard U.S. electric current. European appliances require an adapter.

El Yunque Rainforest: The Caribbean National Forest, often called El Yunque Rainforest, has the highest visitation of any natural site in Puerto Rico. When you see it, you’ll easily understand why. You can see the forest best on foot, but much of its splendor can be appreciated during a slow drive up and down the mountain. You can explore on your own, park along a roadside tower to see the view, or take a guided tour. El Yunque can be seen from our front balcony and is only 15 minutes away from our complex.

Facts about Fajardo: Both Spanish and English are the official languages, the local currency is the U.S. dollar, and no visas or passports are required to enter Puerto Rico from the United States. Mail is sent through the US Postal Service at the same rates as on the mainland. Fajardo ((fah-HAHR-do) ) is known as 'La Metrópolis del Sol Naciente' (the city that guards the sun of the Caribbean). Fajardo was founded in 1772. It was originally named Santiago de Fajardo. Fajardo is one of the most originally beautiful spots on the island's shores. Located in the east region of the island, bordering the Atlantic Ocean, north of Ceiba and east of Luquillo. Fajardo is a major boating center, with a wide range of rentals and charters available, with daily and sport-diving excursions as well as scheduled ferries and air service carrying passengers and cargo to Culebra and Vieques. My friends and I went for a long weekend and had a great time. We managed to squeeze a little bit of everything into our short stay, including hanging out t the pool, going to the beach, snorkeling, kayaking under the starts on the luminescent bay, gambling at the nearby El Conquistador Resort, dining with the locals and salsa lessons. The condo was cozy and clean and offered everything we needed. All of that and it was only a few hours away by plane. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to getaway.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

it was a spectacular trip !
From start to finish, we expereinced a very easy simple and wonderfull mini vacation.
all the layout, amenities, location and the view from the balcony was incredible.

we also did some adventure and went to the forest. real fun !

i would definelty reccomend !
