Tranquil, rustic and private, our two bedroom waterfront cottage offers the perfect Maine get-away. Nestled under tall pines on the shore of Kezar Lake (noted by National Geographic as one of the world's most beautiful lakes), this original 1930's camp is fully equipped and ready for your family and pets to enjoy. Our hand decorated cottage has views of the lake from every window, open living area with complete kitchen, full bath, and comfortably sleeps 4. Begin your day with breakfast on the fully screened porch while you watch the loons. Stroll across a grassy lawn to your private dock for a refreshing dip or some fishing. Kayaks and canoe are provided or rent a boat at the nearby Marina. Outdoor activities abound in the White Mountain area; outlet shopping, drive-in movie, antique/art shops, groceries are close by. Relax with evening cookouts around the fire pit and view outstanding sunsets over the lake and western mountains. We welcome children & well-behaved pets.

What a way to relax!

I have stayed at this cabin numerous times and still can't believe what a hidden gem it is. The views are breath taking as is the lovely water front accessibility. Nice clean cabin, and the owners are just delightful. A short drive brings you to wonderful Ebeneazers pub and resturant as well as the Lovell golf course. Certainly a place to relax and regroup. Dog friendly too, what a bonus!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Wow! Did we have rain!

This was a sweet cozy cabin on the lake- but I wish the neighbors had been a little quieter! The hosts were terrific. It was a little more rustic and a little smaller than I had expected- we were 2 people- I think more would have been cramped- but clean and all amenities as described. The lake was clean and beautiful.
We explored the area and got to Conway in all the rain we had, where there are outlets, restaurants, movies, supermarkets, etc. Some good farmstands in Fryeberg, that our hosts recommended, provided fresh wild blueberries and eggs and bread and milk- yummy!

I would certainly return.
