Its in-town location makes it walking distance to movie theaters, stores, many restaurants and the commuter train to Chicago. Master bedroom on first floor. Fully-equipped eat-in kitchen. Enclosed front porch with wicker furniture provides a relaxing place to watch the world go by. Long driveway will accommodate RVs and boat trailers. Large back yard for children and for BBQ's. Cable TVs with DVD/VHS players. Nearby attractions include Six Flags Great America, Volo Auto Museum, Volo Antique Mall, Lambs Farm, Wilmot Ski Area, Volo Bog Nature Center, Gurnee Mills Shopping Mall, and multiple golf courses. The Chain O' Lakes State Park offers hiking trails, horseback riding, boat and paddle boat rental, boat ramps, fishing, ice fishing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.

What a great getaway! Six of us stayed in this comfortable and delightful home for a weekend of shopping, comraderie, and relaxation. Nice neighborhood and only one block from the lake. Lots of local restaurants and a short drive from lots of shopping. Owner puts special touches into this place that truly make it a home away from home.

We stayed here in April of 2008, and it was great! We were actually using it as a weekend retreat for our non-for profit theater company. There was plenty of room for all, and we enjoyed getting out of the city and getting lots of work done.
