This house shows the love that it has been given. It is country style with modern amenities. Each bedroom is charming and unique. The loft bedroom upstairs has all modern built-in furniture with Queen bed, air conditioning and an outer room with desk. One Downstairs bedroom has two single beds and other bedroom has one double bed. Open Living/Dining space has cathedral ceilings, superb stereo system, TV, candlelight dining, new windows and faces front of house. Kitchen is spanking new with stainless appliances, granite countertop and mosaic backsplash. Upstairs bathroom with skylight just built . Downstairs cedar bathroom has full bath/shower. Every amenity is included. Brand new bi-level deck is totally private, and we dine outdoors frequently. Many beautiful container plants all over the decks. Brand new private outdoor shower. Winding brick lane leads you around to back entrance of the house.

Perfect Beach Getaway

My wife and I rented the beach house in August 2009. We were looking for a little R&R and some fun in the sun. This turned out to be the perfect escape. The house is conveniently located only steps away from the beach and a short walk into the main part of town of Ocean Beach. The home itself has great charm and all the amenities one might need for their stay. The outdoor shower could not be beat. The surrounding area was quiet and laid back; we enjoyed early morning walks on the beach and reading a good book on a lazy afternoon. We especially loved sitting on the deck at night with the hanging votive candles and lights that provided the perfect ambiance for a relaxed evening. We enjoyed going into town for dinner, music, and drinks at one of the local spots. The owner's of the home have been there for over 20 plus years and were very informative when it came to the island and in helping us plan our trip. It was our first time on the island but we felt like we knew the area thanks to them. We feel very fortunate to have met the owners and to have a memorable Fire Island experience. We had a wonderful time and recommend this home for anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway.
