Our four bedroom house, a short walk from Montauk's famous Ditch Plains beach, is light and bright, clean and comfortable, with central air for those rare days when the ocean breezes aren't enough to cool you off! You'll enjoy the fully-equipped kitchen with brand new appliances including dishwasher and refrigerator with ice maker. Bring your laptop for cable modem Internet access! The large, comfortable living room upstairs and roomy den downstairs give you plenty of room to kick back and relax after a great day at the beach, not to mention the brand-new spacious decks front and back. Four bedrooms (2 Queen, 2 double beds) feature comfortable new mattresses and 100% cotton linens. All linens are provided, as are Cable TV, DVD player, and stereo, and laundry room with washer and dryer. We are booked for July and August 2009, but September is beautiful in Montauk, so contact us soon!

Montauk has a wave for everyone. The Atlantic surf at Ditch Plains beach draws surfers from all over the East Coast. The gentle waves of Gin Beach on the Sound are perfect for the littlest ones. The golf course at Montauk Downs State Park is rated second only to the Black Course at Bethpage among public golf courses in New York State. You can bike to the lighthouse, or hike the many trails in Montauk Point State Park and other sites. Take your pick of the many excellent restaurants for fresh seafood dinners (or great steaks, if that's your choice). And after your day in the sun, the fresh sea air guarantees a peaceful, restful sleep!

This is the best summer we've had in our 15 summers in Montauk! We spent three weeks with our three kids and two dogs in this great house. It was incredibly well equipped, lovely and well located. You can hear the ocean from the back deck and see Lake Montauk from the front. The owners are lovely and accomodating. We are planning to go back next year.

We stayed 2 weeks at the Benson House in Ditch Plains and as regular visitors to MOntauk we can say this was the most comfortable and acommodating house we have ever stayed at. The owners leave nothing out. Just like staying at a long stay hotel andn then some. All you need to bring are clothes and a love of the outdoors. Three decks ensure sun exposure all day and sundown and stars exposure all night. Sort walk to the beach and located in a quiet area just outside of town, this house leaves you right in the heart of Montauk with plenty of privacy. We look forward to returning next year.
