Additional information about rental rates

  • $1,150/week to $2,150/week depending on season and $2,650 Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years wks.
  • These rates are based on seven nights. We have a minimum stay of four nights, which is pro-rated at $200 a night in off season and $300 a night in on season; plus an additional $100 short term stay charge. A 50% deposit plus a $200 damage deposit is required at time of booking and the balance is due two weeks prior to arrival. Deposit is fully refundable if there is a cancellation 30 days or more prior to arrival. Between 30 days and two weeks prior to arrival, 50% of deposit is refundable. Deposit is non-refundable after that. In the event of a cancellation, the damage deposit will be returned and every effort will be made to rent to another guest. If one is found, all money will be returned less a 10% service fee. Holiday rates apply to Christmas, New Years and Thanksgiving weeks.

There is a ceiling fan, also an air conditioning unit which rarely needs to be used. Bedroom 2 is 8 ft. x 14 ft., has a king size bed which can be configured as two twin beds for greater flexibility upon request. There is a dresser, ceiling fan, air conditioner and adjacent walk in closet. The window looks out to a stone wall.

The condo is a perfect location for scenic views and fresh air. It has a private feel to it, and the grounds are lush with beautiful landscaping. The condo is located at one of the highest points on the island which makes it cooler and more comfortable. Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world are a short drive down the mountain. The owners (Bruce and Jan) have used quality construction so the condo feels more like home, and they have tastefully decorated the rental. I thoroughly searched St. John for a condo for the three of us ( two adults and one 12yr. old) and couldn't find a better price for a 2 bedroom place. When we arrived I couldn't have been happier with my choice of properties. We settled in quickly for our 2 week stay, and took full advantage of the comfortable patio, kitchen, big screen TV, pool, and comfortable beds. Bruce and Jan were very welcoming and accommodating. Answering any and all questions we had without crowding us in any way. The condo is highly maintained meaning CLEAN which coming from me is a true compliment! I am a clean and placement freak, and typically I spend hours of my first day on vacation cleaning a property. I did NOT have to do that here at My Luna Vista. Thank you Jan and Bruce! The condo is a great value and extremely comfortable, and we highly recommend this property. If we return to St. John this is where we will stay.

Hosts: Bruce and Jan are amazing! One day we almost ran out of gas and the 2 gas stations on the island were closed (7pm on Sunday)! We called Bruce who said that he would take care of it, and when we got back to Luna Vista he had gas for us :) . This type of hospitality is priceless!

Location: Excellent, close to the most beautiful beaches on St. John. It is about a 20 min drive from Cruz Bay.

Facilities: The condo is practically brand new and very comfortable - we stayed there with couple friends. There are the most amazing views from the porch. We cooked many a morning and had relaxing meals outside. There is also a grill that we used to cook dinner. It is cozy, so we recommend it for a family or good friends.

Mics: The only odd thing about the stay was that we had to bring the garbage out to a dumpster down the street.
The dogs are adorable and so friendly. Our friend is a bit afraid of dogs, and even she warmed up to them!

the owners jan and bruce were very helpful and informative
about the villa and the island. wonderful view and always a breeze. we would definitely recommend this property..the two dogs and cats were very friendly and a great asset to the villa.
