Brigantine holiday house

My wife and I just got back from a week here (July '09) and we found the place exactly as advertised. Our first impression was a great one, the place was clean and quiet, roomy and comfortable.

We were happy to find so many of the things that are normally missing in a cottage rental, with nice pots and pans and other kitchen accouterments including a wonderful assortment of sharp knives.

There seemed to be an attention to the small details that make living away from home easier and more comfortable. And isn't that how a vacation should be? Lots of storage space, closets, sufficient numbers of lamps and lights, all the appliances working. Making the internet connection was the essence of simplicity.

The location on the golf course, is wonderful, so quiet and pretty. We loved having an open deck AND a screened porch. We could be 'outside' anytime we wanted.

And we found the owner to be an absolute pleasure to work with. He was VERY responsive and always went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed to make our vacation a successful one, and answered all our questions quickly.

About Brigantine, there are not tons of things to do there, which actually made it more appealing for us. Even, that being said, there are a couple of decent restaurants, places to get ice cream, beer, wine & liquor and of course, great beaches.

I will mention that I am an avid cyclist and like to ride distances, 25, 50, 75+ miles. A Brigantine location is not conducive to such riding given that the only access is via Atlantic City and entirely by expressway type roads. Unless, of course, you don't mind putting the bike on the car and driving to a place nicer to ride. On the other hand, if you like riding just a couple of miles, or riding to a bakery, out for coffee, ice cream, etc. then Brigantine works just fine for that.

We'd go back again, without hesitation, and hope we'll have the chance to.

I loved it! talk about feeling at home without being at home! the pictures really don't do the house much justice. the house is beautiful! the neighborhood is so quiet and calm. i would definitely recommend this property to friends and family! i hope to return very soon. it was a very comforting experience knowing that the house we stayed at felt so family oriented and was so very clean! i went with three of my friends and we had a wonderful girls getaway. the taxi service to Atlantic city was awesome. it was a wonderful experience over all! can't wait to do it again! the communication that i had with the owner was what initially made me feel comfortable renting this house. he is a very communicable person and responds within minutes of emails. <3 <3 <3 loved it!!!! <3 <3 <3

This was our second year renting this adorable home and we have just reserved our week for 2009.

Our grandchildren love the "kids" room with the Mickey Mouse TV, and I especially love the big dining room table that easily seats 8 -10.

If you are looking for a family friendly property this is the one. Just pack your suitcase because everything else is already here.

Once your stay is over you will be pleasantly surprised to find your deposit is returned within a few days.
